Great value and very nice facility
We stayed at this hotel near the airport because we were booked on an early morning flight. The free parking, airport shuttle, and long drive to the airport were the reasons we stayed, but the property was fantastic! Super clean, extremely comfortable, friendly staff and very nice rooms. Great value!

Not so great
The indoor pool is NOT heated nor is the room, so no swimming for us. The airport van was 15 minutes late to take us to the airport. Breakfast was minimal, not much out. It took over 5 minutes to get hot water for a shower to the 5th floor! The housekeepers never cleaned our room for 3 days, just always left a note by 9:00 am.

Stayed just a few days while visiting family. We've stayed at this hotel before & liked the location. It is a fairly new hotel, so it was clean & orderly as you would expect. Our stay was pleasent & uneventful; just the way we like it.

This hotel is only a mile or so from Military Hwy & less than that from I-64; so getting around & finding shopping & dining spots is very easy.

Trip to Virginia Beach & Country Inn
It was an ideal experience. From check-in to check-out, I had zero complaints. I definitely paid less than I should have. Highly recommended!

Great Stay
The rooms where clean and comfortable. The beds were especially comfortable and made it easy to get a good night's sleep. If I am ever in the area, I would definately stay again.

weary travelers
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!
[...] when we got there after midnight, we were told our reservation didnt exsist and they had no rooms. they were not very nice about it. they basically said oh well instead of trying to find out what was going on. very rude and unfriendly people. we worked all night and had been traveling all day, just looking for a place to get a couple hours sleep. i would lose my job if i ever treated a customer this way. these people should be retrained on customer service!!! i will never stay at any place even associated to this hotel chain again.

Good location
When we arrived early our room was not ready. The front desk was nice enough to give us our room so we could get dressed for a wedding but she said the toilet was being fixed and the bathroom was not clean yet. The room was nice and we changed. When we left an hour later, I told the women at the front desk we were leaving and they could now clean our bathroom. When we returned from the wedding at 10PM our bathroom was never cleaned. We were too tired to change rooms. In the morning we had wonderful breakfast with a very gracious host. But again as we were checking out at the front desk she was arguing with some one about the shuttle to the airport and was not very friendly.

Country Inn & Suites review
The complimentary breakfast could have been better. I've been to other hotels that offer complimentary breakfast. With the waffles but then they have sausage, bacon, eggs along with the fruit and cereal.
