All-suite economy hotel near the Virginia Beach oceanfront
The Belmont Inn & Suites attracts travelers on a budget. The Virginia Beach hotel provides the basics --room to sleep, dine and cook -- with a separate bedroom and lounge area. A small kitchenette allows guests to prepare meals on the stove, heat up food in the microwave and store leftovers in the refrigerator. bad to worse
this is a budget in, you get what you pay. But still over priced. The place is run down, dirty and unfriendly service. The owner will walk around to see to check on you. The sheet /towel are dirty looking , refrigerator doesn't work properly. Not a good place at all if you travel with kids!

awesome location
I almost didnt book this room, because of all the reviews I read, but my friend said they were just someones opions and not take all the bad ones so serious...glad I listened..it was awesome, the AC rocked, it was so cold, the staff was nice and helpful, very friendly... you will have to bring your own kitchen things, we were 1/2 block from the beach, and it was just a nice stay, we will book there again next year...the price was really great too. they even let us check in 3 hours early...

couldnt get any better
well after reading everyone elses reviews, i was scared to book this hotel, but my friend said the reviews are just opinions and not always beleave what you read....and that was so true...it was 1/2 block from the beach, the service was awesome, close to everything you would need, the AC rocked, it was so cold....you will need to bring your own kitchen things, but we enjoyed our stay and will rebook it for next year...they treated us like we were famiely.....

air conditioning didnt work.
Well the air conditioning didnt work, the manager of the hotel kept telling us it had to stay on a certain temperature which was on hot and at 85 degrees. it put out col air for like 5 min. and then it would stop. the only time it was cool was in the middle of the night. Was the worst motel ever.

It was 2 guys going to VA Beach for a soccer tournament, it was a perfect stay. The price was right, we were close to all of our friends who paid a lot more money. Probably not the most luxurious room, but it was clean and comfortable. If your expectations are realistic you will enjoy your stay. Big rooms and full kitchen is great, bring your own cups, dishes, etc.

not too bad
This hotel was good for the price. Asside from not having a pool and poor ac system in the rooms I enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and the location was great. Rooms were clean and the fridge worked.
