BEST WESTERN PLUS Sandcastle Beachfront Hotel

Our stay was pleasant, the staff was polite and very helpful. The room we had was a Oceanside, with two double beds. The room was to small, with four people and our suitcases it was very cramped. Will not do the same type of room, need to get a larger room or a different hotel. It rained three of the five days. But we shopped, ate, had two days at the beach had a great time. They were also doing improvements at the hotel.

Not a new fancy hotel but it is well maintained. Comforter beds, small bath area. Great view of the ocean, the pier and right next to a small amusement park. Decent continential breakfast...make you own waffles. Needs a coffee pot in the room.

The room was small but clean, bathroom small but clean. The staff was great - from check in to the cleaning staff to checkout - courteous, very helpful & great service. Great beachfront location, convenient to the Pier & the strip shopping & restaurants. Easy to park, easy to get to from the Interstate. Overall a good experience & I would stay there again.

The hotel was very clean and great location. The parking garage was very nice on hot days. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very good.

This was the perfect selection for a ladies beach getaway!!! The parking garage was a great feature and the view great from our balcony. The staff was super helpful and friendly. This hotel will be on our short list for next year's trip!!

been coming to Virginia beach now for 10 years and have stayed at a different hotel each time but that will change next year i will be staying again at sandcastle oceanfront resort hotel. it was : close to excellent restaurants , clean , friendly staffed great parking and breakfast.

The desk and housekeeping staff was very friendly; parking was easily accessible to the room; the room was clean, although small, but had enough room for an additional cot; beds were very comfortable; the location was central to all activities; the breakfast was sparse, but adequate; great place for the price if you don't plan on spending much time in the room; would return if the price was right

This was the worst for the price hotel we ever booked on [...]. The room was small, no closets, and dust was never cleaned off the tables, dressers and refrigerator. The dressers were chipped badly.They advertised a deluxe breakfast buffet included in the [...]price and it was Continental Style! We stayed from Sat to Wed in conditions like this. They only thing your paying for is the view and location to the boardwalk and pier. For the price I would not reccommend this hotel to anybody............

I booked through [...]for a Ocean View room with extra bed. The room was very small for our family of four and there was no room to open the extra bed. You couldn't see the ocean unless you leaned over the rail of the balcony. The Hotel told me the rate for the room was $149.99 per night but [...]charged me $189.99 per night. The Hotel was booked up so no other rooms were available. They felt bad for us and made some calls and moved us to another Hotel right down the road called Surfside. It's owned by the same people. The room was much nicer and was ocean view. It should of cost $40 more but they didn't charge any more, they just transferred the reservation, so it ended up being a good stay.
