Great Hotel, Handicapped Parking sucked!

Would recommend Sun, Sep 27, 2015
The hotel was neat, clean, well maintained, in a good location and the staff was friendly and attentive. My complaint is: As a 100 disabled Vietnam veteran, the parking situation sucked! The hotel has 230 rooms and only FOUR marked handicapped parking spaces! There are a number of spaces that are not-handicapped but they were always filled. So, to park, you had to go to the annex hotel across the street where there is a parking garage. A handicapped person, trying to cross a 4-lane street, without a marked crosswalk is a challange to say the least. They need to provide more handicapped parking in the main parking lot. To make matters worse, my last night they sectioned off 10 parking spaces and marked it for bus parking! Let the bus discharge the passengers and then go park across the street. Other than that, the hotel is very nice.

Great VA Beach Trip

Would recommend Mon, Aug 17, 2015
Couldn't really ask for much more for the price and location. The room was great, and being oceanfront was amazing. Like any beach hotel, there were a lot of wet floors and dragged in sand, which kind of gave the impression of uncleanliness, but is really to be expected being right on the beach. The cleanliness of the room made up for that. One complaint I have was the breakfast was really sub-par, but again, given the price, really can't ask for much more.

Family trip 2015

Would recommend Sat, Jul 25, 2015
We stayed at the Best Western Plus Oceanfront the week of July 20, 2015. The non-oceanfront room is across Atlantic Ave from the main Hotel. It is an older motel-style building. We liked it because it was a lot cheaper than the main hotel, and it was right beside the outdoor pool. It is an older motel, so it is dated and a bit grimy from years of beach goers passing through. The parking garage is a bit tight, so don't bring your limo or hummer. Continental breakfast was good. It was over in the restaurant at the main hotel. Scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, French toast, etc. The overall experience was good. We have 2 small children, so the stay was relaxing while economical. This place is great for young families trying to get their kids to the beach. I would recommend something nicer if you are off for a romantic getaway.

Family trip 2015

Would recommend Thu, Jul 23, 2015
When I booked I thought non ocean front meant no view of the ocean, room faced Atlantic ave. turns out non ocean front meant a room across the street. I wasn't happy about that, but it worked because we had the pool right there for evenings. They had a complimentary breakfast buffet every morning which was nice. Housekeeping did not replace tp we had to get it from the front desk, but the front desk staff were very helpful. They let us use a cot but the lady who brought it over had my son in law bring it up the steps because she couldn't. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but for the money I would stay there again.
