Hotel near Dulles Airport
Toured Gettysburg and Monticello and attended a wedding in DC with this hotel as our home base. Everything was fine, without being exceptional.

Gettysburg is about an hour drive, but definitely worth a visit if you enjoy seeing the countryside on your vacation. We loved it!

Convenient and great breakfasts
Close to Dulles Airport and convenient to major highways to drive anywhere -- good parking out front of hotel. Free breakfast was very clean and organized and handled large numbers of families efficiently. Food was simple but good. Best breakfast experience ever had at these kinds of hotels.

NW of the hotel, out Route 7 from Sterling in Leesburg is good outlet shopping mall -- about 15-20 minute drive from hotel.

Long Walk
We loved the hotel and the breakfast was exceptional. Lots of variety. Our room was very nice even if we did have to walk to the end of the hotel corridors. At least we had our morning, noon, and evening constitutionals. The only real complaint was the room felt stuffy and the A/C, even though set to 65º, only cooled to 72º. I wanted a fan. Also, the comforter, which is very nice, is too hot for summer and the sheet is not quite enough cover. Overall, I give the hotel an A+ for cleanliness, decor, spaciousness, and BREAKFAST! Good going.

flight delayed and stuck in dc
The room was large and airy. The bathroom was huge and clean. The bed was comfortable. the complimentary breakfast was extensive. Shuttle service to the airport every 15 minutes.
