Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Dulles Airport

We booked 5 rooms for 5 days, one room was Handicaped . I selected the Faifield Inn for the following reasons. Handicap accessabiklity. Swiming indoor Major problem was that swiming pool wasn't not open until 5pm! This was a great letdown with our children.

My wife and I were looking for a inexpensive place to stay while we were remodeling a house. Besides the toilet seat being loose the hotel was a great value. Clean, new, and easy access in and out.

Traveled to Sterling for the week for work. I figured that I was staying at a Mariott owned hotel, and I have always had good experiences with them. If it didn't have a name on the front, I would have thought I was staying at a Days Inn. Room was nothing special, and you only get like 8 channels on the TV. I wanted to watch the Thursday night football game but couldn't. Everything was relatively clean, but just expected more from a Mariott (at least a hotel bar to relax after work). On the plus side, excercise room was great--I ran on the treadmill with TVs built into each of them. Also, a pretty good breakfast in the morning.

We needed to stay near the Dulles Airport to catch a flight to London the next day. This hotel fit the bill and was an easy hop to the terminal. Very comfortable and good service.

Staff were friendly. Room was fine. But there is no food service and I had no car. So you really don't want to be there except for purely overnight. You can order in food from restaurants though. There is no public transport from this hotel if you want to try to go somewhere else and walking is not an option (because of freeway system and distance)

Breakfast was great. And there was plenty for my 5 year old to explore to keep him occupied.

This was a (sort of) cheap airport hotel for an early morning flight. I should have spent the bucks for a nicer place. Gulag lights pierced the sheer gauze curtains all night, and I had to listen to snoring from the next room. I discovered that the strong scent of cleaner or freshener served to mask mold from the air conditioner that leaked. It was miserable, and not worth the slight savings over a better hotel.

We had indicated that there will be three adults staying (my wife and daughter) but the room given to us was with one queen size bed. Upon requesting a room with two double beds we were told that the price would go up by forty dollars however they could provide us a roll-away. We opted to get a roll-away which was VERY uncomfortable. Will not stay at this hotel again!!!

Overall it was a nice experience. The day I arrived however the black top was being repaved so parking was a absolute bare minimun. Other than hearing the planes fly over head it was a nice stay. The room was very clean and the free breakfast was well stocked.
