ESA Washington DC-Sterling

This hotel is the worst i've ever been to here. Was asked to wait for 2hrs on a already reserved check-in. Was forced to get a smoking room instead of the reserved non-smoking due to over booking. Given wrong room key by college kid employee. Room smelt like trash. TV didn't work. There were several flees in the bed. Woken to loud spanish speaking people banging on doors at 2:45 am.

I needed a hotel that was centrally located and this fit the bill. The staff was friendly and helpful; however, the hotel itself was poorly maintained. The carpets in the hallways and room were filthy. I had to ask for another room because the first one I was given smelled awful. The upholstery on the chair/ottoman in the room were stained and I was nervous about whether the mattress was safe to sleep on. Luckily, the latter proved to be fine.
