Epic Getaway
When we read the reviews of the hotel online, the internet didnt lie. The hotel was very clean and great for it's value. The staff were so nice and friendly. We came late at night and the chef prepared us a batch of hot homemade cookies. The breakfast was very tasty too. The hotel view was amazing. We could stand in front of the hotel and see the whole landscape of plains and mountains in of us. A great place for a great price. Thank you.

Nice surprise
This was only a quick overnight stay in the middle of our trip to Outer Banks from Ohio. We were very satisfied with the hotel and the continental breakfast. The interior was older but it was clean and in good repair.

not a good choice
rooms were clean but we were upset that when we went to the pool at 8am on Sunday morning, we were told that they were vacuuming it and it could not be used til after 10am. Checkup was 11 so not much time in the pool and we both need to exercise in the water daily. We also saw a sign that forbids folks from taking their morning coffee, juice or muffin to eat in the room. Just not a customer friendly hotel.

Good clean efficiency room for the price
We were visiting our son at a local school, and just needed a room for the night. This hotel was perfect for that purpose. The room was small, but neat and clean. Note for parents traveling with gamers, there are no plug in ports on TV for game systems (PS3, XBOX, etc). Also, there is no hotel restaurant, just a very light continential breakfast and complimentary cookies at 8 pm, which is fine because there are a lot of local restaurants.

Byers Street Bistro in the Old Wharf district of downtown Staunton is really great food from inspired chefs at a reasonable price.

Great service, clean, noisy AC
Check in was great! Very nice clerk with freshly baked cookies upon arrival. The facility was clean. Plenty of parking. The only negative comment is that the air conditioner was very noisy.

good price and a nice place to stay
We came in on our motorcycle to ride the Skyline Drive. We had a good time the hotel was clean and comfortable we had a good nights sleep and off for another day of riding.
