Disappointed
Booked this hotel for 3 nights, but left a day ealier. Its really a motel not hotel, rooms were very clean, spacious, not a good location. We had to walk outside in the cold to reach our room, no lobby. So if you don't mind it, the accomodation was fine. I think its overpriced for its facilities and location.

A place to sleep
Pure 1960's feel; the room was clean, but the blanket on the bed should have been burned months ago. I requested another which was slightly better.

Could use some better amenities
The location was way off the beat and path and was a little inconvenient. The room was averagly clean but could have been better. Things were a little rundown and needs some better upkeep. Breakfast selection was not good and needs some major improvement.

JMU parents weekend
I was in Harrisonburg for my son's parents weekend at JMU & this is the closest hotel we could find. We booked the hotel back in July for a mid October event. I was actually 35 miles away from campus...needless to say a few miles further than we wanted but it was all that was available. When we walked into the room it was quite obvious that the place needed updating. The entire place needed a good renovation. I will not be staying their again & cannot recommend to friends.

Nice for the price
The room was clean and the bed was fine for us but we prefer firm mattresses. The location was super convenient with the trolley stop right next door. You could walk downtown or ride the trolley.

Nice place
Nice hotel. Very clean. Pool was sparkling and surprisingly big and deep. Only complaints were that there was no wi-fi and the breakfast was small and only had one toaster.

Basic hotel, nothing fancy but decent.
Stayed in Staunton for 2 nights for a wedding. Hotel was decent, very basic, nothing fancy. Clean, smelled fine, nice mini fridge we used to store drinks and snacks. No fan in the bathroom which was strange but not a big deal. If you're just looking for a place to crash this is fine for the price, no bells and whistles.

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
The Baja Bean on Beverly St. was horrible. I've never written a bad review for a restaurant but this was hands down the worst place I've ever eaten at. The beans smelled like dog food (I'm still not convinced it wasn't). Had we not been in a massive hurry we would have refused to pay or at least returned it for another dish). It was terrible.
