not worth the money!
Old hotel. Horrible views. Dingy but relatively clean. Charged me twice for the room. Nonchalant... See full review

My special someone and I went to Staunton for an easy weekend getaway before the holidays start. The hotel was easy to find and not far from downtown and other areas of interest. We arrived after 8pm and they had popcorn in the lobby for the
guests to enjoy which was kinda fun but once we got to our floor we realized why the hotel want expensive at all... There was a funny smell in the hallways from what I'm guessing was a mixture of cigarettes and something else. The linens were clean and the bathroom looked like it was cleaned regularly but there was trash beside the bed and the sheets did not fit properly on the mattress. Also the only drink vending machine that worked was outside by the pool so getting a quick drink was a very chilly experience. The breakfast selection was decent and if it the available options aren't to your liking (I liked the waffle options) there is a waffle house right next door.
