Family Gathering
I was traveling to a family gathering and did not know exactly where to stay. The location of the hotel in the heart of Stafford was perfect -- just a mile from where the gathering was happening. The room was lovely, very up to date in all amenities and very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast had something for everyone and was delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Review of Wingate Hotel
The staff at checkin was a bit stand-off-ish but did the job. The shower needs repair in room 119. Very hard to get the shower to switch from bath to shower. Otherwise the stay was comfortable. Breakfast was satisfactory. Scrambled Eggs with Velveeta cheese, Bisquits and gravy, cereal, fruits, juice, etc.. No bacon, sausage, or meats. Foam Pillows were not comfortable.

Downtown Fredericksburg is very quaint and rich with historical civil war artifacts, stores, and resturants.

Great stay!
My boyfriend and I enjoyed staying here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping near by. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful bride
Great location, clean!
Stayed for 1 night and the staff was very nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The lighting could have been better and the tv had a lot of "snow" on it, but id reccomend this hotel and stay here again if I needed too!

Review of stay at the Stafford Wingate
A very friendly group always with a smile to greet you. Great place for a family to stay. Awesome rooms that were the next best thing to home. Would highly suggest anyone to stay there. While visiting family in Virginia and D.C. this hotel was great to return to each night. By far the one of the best hotels we have been to.
