Holiday Inn Express RICHMOND AIRPORT

Stayed here on business for 1 week. Room seemed to me well worn but servicable. Hallways in hotel smelled of cigarette smoke even in non smoking areas. Room smelled, maybe like very old cigarette smoke? My clothes smelled after staying there, even the ones I never wore. Wireless internet was adequate to run skype at poor quality. Breakfast was good. Location is very close to RIC airport, a plus. You have to drive a bit to get to food (1 exit down). I will look for another place to stay next time to see if I can do better.

The hotel is convenient to the airport and staff was courteous. Bathroom was in need up updates. Room was stuffy.

This is one of the best hotels we have visited. The room was spotless. The front desk person was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and delicious. We will definitely stay here again.

The overall experience with this hotel/motel was very good. Breakfast was hot -- good choices. Rooms were clean and kept clean. Very quiet, even being close to the airport. However, did not appreciate the maid service using the business center computer that had the only one printer attached to it. Had to wait at least a half an hour before I could access that computer/printer.

Overall, our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was a good one. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a lot smaller than I had anticipated. We had adjoining rooms, and with the doors open to keep an eye on the children there was no room to maneuver as the sleep sofas when pulled out allowed no room to get from room to room except climbing over the pulled out beds. The coffee tables could be removed as they too had to be moved in order to pull out the sofas. [...] The continental breakfast however was the best I have seen. The choices were fantastic, and everything was delicious. Also, the children loved the indoor heated pool which kept them busy for hours.

Excellant! Very clean room, good bed, quiet, bountiful breakfast bar even included hot eggs (not just cold hard-boiled eggs!) and sausage.

My stay at this particular hotel was great. During the week it was very quiet and peaceful. My last night, a Saturday, it was extremely noisy due to a group of teenagers who were doing who knows what. Either way they were LOUD. I don't blame the hotel for that, just to make that clear. It was just bad luck. The service was great, the breakfast area was pristine, and I felt safe and comfortable. The latter is important since I'm a young female and I travel a lot on my own. I would definitely stay there again!

We spent a week in Richmond as we wanted to tour DC, Colonial williamsburg, and Virginia Beach area. Money was a big consideration and the Holiday Inn Express appeared to be a good place from what we could see online. We live in MN so had little to go off and didn't know exactly what to expect. We couldn't be happier with the room as it was clean and the furnishing were very nice. The full breakfast was a great bonus and the staff was helpful with ideas for our trip. I would recommend it to all of my friends!

No problems. Good location for early departure from airport next day, left car while gone. Had to-go bags with yogurt, cin/roll, water, apples/bananas as we could not take advantage of hot breakfast. 5:30 am shuttle on time, would have picked us up as well on return, but we arrived by car due to rerouting on airline. Quick in and out, we arrived late for ck-in, no oppor to enjoy pool or fitness. Room fine.
