Convenient locale at the airport for Richmond travelers
The Hilton Garden Inn Richmond Airport, located only one mile from the Richmond International Airport, offers complimentary airport shuttle service, a complimentary 24-hour business center, complimentary wireless Internet service in the lobby and restaurant, and a free copy of USA Today each weekday morning. Clean, comfortable, posh-feeling rooms
Stayed just overnight with my spouse & 2 kids (8 & 11 yo). The rooms were very nicely done and super-comfortable beds. (kids very intrigued by the comfort-dial feature!) Bathroom was spotless and the shower was bliss! Would definitely recommend--

Wonderful Stay
We stayed here to go to the Homeschool convention at the Richmond convention center. The drive was only about 7 miles and was an easy ride. We loved the hotel. The staff was wonderful and supplied all our needs...even the odd ones. The pool was really small but would be great if you just wanted to cool off. My husband and I went for a run down the street and felt safe. We were very pleased with the hotel and have NO complaints at all. [...] It was DEFINATLY worth the money and we will be staying there every year for the conference.

Stop on the way
This was an overnight stop as we arrived in Richmond at 11PM. There was no food place within walking distance except a gas station 3 blocks away. The pantry was limited to mostly sweets. The hotel room was a welcomed respite from 12 hours of airports and airplanes. The free shuttle was quick in getting us so late in the evening. We took the shuttle back to the airport to the car rental. The front desk staff was very helpful in helping us find our way around. Except for the food situation, it was a short but very pleasant stay.

In Hotel
If you arrive late, use the hotel shuttle and rent your car in the morning. Saves 1 day rental and you can rest easy without trying to find the hotel.

Great famliy vacation
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The whirlpool was broken it didn't stay hot. This is a great famliy hotel for a vacation close to airport and a easy drive into Richmond, Va
