Comfort Inn Richmond Airport

Front disk personnel were very decent and very friendly with a big smile on face during the check in process. She was very helpful to find a place to dine in. Morning breakfast was good and fresh with reasonable quantities for the number of the guests. In short I will recommend this hotel for the others and I will use it for future trips to Richmond.

Stayed one night. Close to the airport. Clean. Reasonable price. Provided choice of items for breakfast. Free internet access. Check-in so late

They made sure my name was on the shuttle pick up list as soon as I checked in.

The stay was good.

Had to awaken the staff to check me in. Management awakened me at 1:30am banging and yelling at the door across the hall because their TV was on too loud. I explained to the manager that I couldn't hear the TV - but they needed to stop shaking the door, banging on the door, and YELLING for the person to open the door. This lasted 30 minutes!!!When the TV remote control didn't work, I called the front desk - I was told to come to the desk and get a new remote. When I refused to do that, the night manager brought 12 of them to my room and barged in. Unbelievable!Arranged for late check-out the next day- but the day manager started calling me at 8am to leave. THEN REFUSED TO GIVE ME A RECEIPT FOR MY STAY! Unbelievable!Comfort Inn needs to train staff regarding CUSTOMER SERVICE. CLEAN HOUSE NOW!! Get some people who have PEOPLE SKILLS [*]

We were soooo delighted with this hotel!! We were in the area to do a benefit Walk for Lupus at the Richmond Raceway. I had previously made reservations at another location and then read the reviews and immediately canceled them. So I was a bit nervous about this hotel. No need!! It was awesome!! The place was as clean as can be..and I am very picky!! The hot water was hot, the air conditioner/heat was not noisy at all and maintained a very comfortable temperature..hard to find that in a hotel!! The breakfast the next morning was awesome..cereal, fruit, muffins, toast, waffles, sausage..etc. etc. The staff was so very nice and personable. But the very best part was the pillows!! I don't know where they get them but before we left I talked to the manager on duty that morning and I intend to get back in touch with her and find out where to get my own!!! I would definitely stay here again!!!

I checked in at 2:30 AM after my flight was delayed for four hours. The complimentary shuttle was quick to pick me up, the driver was friendly, and when I arrived, the personnel behind the desk were very warm and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, plenty of soft towels, and the standard coffee machine plus a fridge and microwave. No elevator, but there are only two floors. Breakfast is complimentary. The hotel was quiet, and as far a I could tell, rooms were non-smoking. Definitely recommended if you need to stay the night by Richmond International Airport!

I was in the hotel for only one night but I found it to be a very pleasant experience. Clean, quiet, and well managed.

Spent a weekend in Richmond with a friend, and Comfort Inn at Richmond Airport was ideally situated. Located just outside the city, the neighboring areas were well-kept and quiet. Even though the airport is just down the road from the hotel, we didn't hear any noise from incoming/outgoing flights. Took 15 minutes to get to downtown Richmond, 20 to get to the north side. As a young woman (mid-20s) traveling by myself, I felt very safe. Hotel staff was more than friendly. (I'd left a pair of sunglasses there after I'd checked out and they had them at the front desk when I returned for them.) The rooms were pristine & very clean. Not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination, but decorated enough to feel welcoming. My only complaints were the breakfast & (surprise) lack of elevator. Breakfast had a very limited offering. And seeing as the hotel only has two stories, the lack of elevator was not an issue. Overall, an exceptional value!

We stayed here so that we could fly out early the next morning. The place was clean, the breakfast was fine, and it was well worth it.
