Better than expected!!!
The staff were very courteous and pleasant! The hotel room was clean and cozy! No problems to speak of! At first I was thinking "This is probably going to be pretty ghettotacular like the LAST America's Best I stayed at in Virginia Beach" (have you read my post? It was the ghetto one :) .. But nope! If you have to stay close by Richmond Airport, I highly recommend this joint! I stayed at one close by (Days Inn) a few months ago and America's Best would be my choice thus far!

Perfect hotel based on price for Richmond Airport! Almost right next to Chubby's gas station and they had some hella cheap gas! WHAT!!!!!! ;D

My wife and I did not have any problems staying at the America's Best Value Inn. The room was quiet , clean, and the staff was helpful. I would stay there again. I will note their breakfast was sorely lacking.

Legally Inspired
Safety?
Guess you get what you pay for! The ONLY slightly good thing is the location, which is directly across from the Richmond airport. As a single female, I was placed in a room at the back of the hotel, which wouldn't have been a problem but for the obvious illegal activity that was taking place in the back parking lot. As for the room, it wasn't all that clean and I had to place a towel under the door to keep the draft out. Oh, and I was almost late for my flight because the matress was against the plug in the wall, so the clock and lamps lost power when I laid down.

Short drive from hotel
Great shopping not too far from this location. If you keep past the hotel and turned right on some street, I forget the name, but there is a pharmacy and a kfc to the left and a gas station on the right. Turn left there and about a mile or 2 down you will run into great shopping!

My review of Americas Best Value Inn
The room was very uncomfortable and dirty.The bed and pillows were really old.The carpet was wet and had a smell. the hotel web site was very decieving. I will never stay again at this overpriced hotel.

Very Short Distance to RIC Airport
The America's Best Value Inn RIC was just o.k. The hotel is dated and could use some renovations. There was a smell in the room. The hotel needs to be renovated/updated.
