First Time in Roanoke

Best priced hotel in Roanoke! It was bare bones minimum, a little bit dated, but for the most part clean. If you just need a place to crash and you're trying to save some money, this is the place to stay.

glad it was only 1 night

we only stayed there 1 night. we were at the martinsville race on sunday and we stayed here sunday night because the trip home was too long. the pillows were flat as pancakes, the bathroom fan rattled so bad we thought it was going to fly apart. the only good thing about this hotel was that it was near a sheetz and gas was .40 cents cheaper than at home.

Disturbing rest site

The room needed a lot of normal maintenance work done and was very noisy all night long; people talking and hollering and doors slaming. It was a very conveniently located place.

Secret Rendevous

A good price for a nights stay. However the room was small and lacking the typical necessities...A hair dryer, iron and board, an alarm clock. Would stay again but remember to bring my own.

Chicken and Waffles Restaurant next door to Rodeway. Not well kept but food was decent.

Beautiful Roanoke

This was my second visit and both visits were the same. The rooms were poorly maintained, staff couldn't be bothered and the continental breakfast was juice, coffee and toast! I have had better for the price. There were no eating establishments nearby except one that was closed when we arrived late in the day. Staff were not helpful in directing us to services and I ate fast food because I could not find better in the dark in a foreign place. Too high a price for what you get.

Average experience

I got the room based on price and its location across from the Civic Center. The experience was a good one, although my friend had trouble with the air conditioner/heater. Breakfast was kind of disappointing - not much variety.

You get what you pay for

Our experience at this hotel was exactly what we expected. We did not want to spend alot of money on the hotel because we knew we would not be spending alot of time there. The staff was very nice to us. The room was clean it just had a weird smell to it. The location was great right off of the highway, and there were many different types of restuarants to choose from. All and all it was an enjoyable stay
