Poor, tired hotel

The staff was helpful and friendly, but the hotel is old, worn and tired. It appeared dingy, and not every room was adequately equipped. A socket was out in room 213, so a reading lamp wouldn't work. There was no alarm clock in room 213, but there was a coffeemaker. There was an alarm clock in room 211, but no coffeemaker. The breakfast buffet was of poor quality.

Wow

I was totally amazed at the hotel! was more amazed that they were even listed on your site to refer others to stay. Upon arrival, I was given my keys to a very smoke filled smelly room with the bed that looked as if someone had just "gotten up", there were cigarette butts in the ash tray with an empty pack in the tray as well. UGH! It was just awful... I went back to the desk and complained and was sent to the "best room in the hotel", well, it was better, and yes, the ladies in the office did try to help, but just know I was not happy, and did not sleep in the bed, we merely slept on top after purchasing covering from a local merchant. It was hard to rest before my morning conference, however, we prayerfully made it through the night. We will not be returning to the place anytime soon.

Interview at the hospital

Great value. Not downtown, but close. Breakfast was simple, but it was included, so it was right on target. Very close to the hospital if someone needed to go there.

Got out quickly

Reserved a room for 3 nights at this hotel after carefully reading all the reviews. Decided it might be worth the rates. Checked in and desk workers were nice enough. As we walked the corridor to the assigned room, could see some of the other rooms. Began to have a bad feeling. We approached our room and the drapes and RODS were dangling from the ceiling. Upon entering the room, there was a very disgusting odor in the room. It smelled like many cats had used the room. There were holes in the bed spread and the room was nasty. I went back to the front desk asked for charges to be taken off my credit card and we would not be staying there. The staff did not even seem surprised and gave me a cancellation letter right there. We got out quickly and will never recommend this ramado to anyone.

The staff was friendly and helpfull,

The staff was friendly and helpfull, but the hotel was really run down, - and the furniture were old, carpets with dots and as such don't live up to Ramada status.

Can't Beat the Price!!!

Hotel definitely needs upgrading...but overall what I expected for the price I paid. Hotel could use more cleaning overall..but again, you get what you pay for.

Nice Place

The hotel was great for the price! I almost canceled after reading all the terrible reviews that others have left but I'm glad i didn't. Staff was nice. I didn't have the breakfast so I don't know how it was. I would stay again!

Affordable

Lobby and rooms were clean. Staff was helpful and pleasant. It seems that there is a renovated wing and old wing. Sadly we were placed in the old section next to what appeared to be permanent residents.
