Quality Inn Roanoke Airport

The hotel has the essential to stay comfortable and take a good bed rest. I was there to take a seminar at the hotel. I would like more if the cafeteria was oppened for lunch. It was oppened only for breakfast and dinner not for lunch.

We flew in from Philly to Roanoak, VA to move some things out of storage. The hotel was close to the airport and the hotel paid for the taxi ride over -because we had a late flight in and the shuttle had ended for the day. The hotel accommidated us for my disabled friend onto the first floor. Every thing was clean and neat! It did take a couple of tries to get the right room for my disabled friend otherwise everything was great! THANKS!

Not really worth the price.

When we got there the room the put us in had not been cleaned yet and then we had to move rooms. The new room they put us in smelled really bad. The landscaping around the property needed to be fixed badly.

my husband and I met there for a relaxing week end, part of the reason we picked this place was because there was a hotel bar, however the bar was not open on week-ends and the bar sign said it was only open during the week 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM, we did not know the area and did not find a nice bar. I think you should put this info in your ad.We found it misleading. Also, the hotel landscape was alful! overgrown weeds, unkept looking. But the hotel was nice.

When I arrived at the hotel the desk clerk asked for my credit card. I gave it to her thinking she was going to copy it knowing I had already paid for a night there thru orbitz. Well she charged my card and to the wrong room. So I was charged for 3 nights. I realize we are all human and went in to get the credit back. She WOULD NOT fix it. She said she DID NOT charge my card. So I printed off the statment with the current charge that stated the amount on the exact date for the Quality Inn in Roanoake VA. I asked her to look and she wouldn't saying "I don't need to look I know that I didn't charge your account." Okay at this point I wanted to speak with the manager which took me getting angry and telling her to do so 4 or 5 times. She kept saying he is going to tell you the same thing. Well She finally called and he got everything strighten out the next morning. He was very nice and I was thankful he wasn't some young know it all like the above mentioned desk clerk. So he didn't tell me the same thing AND he took care of the overcharge. All in all the room was nice and everyone else was friendly. I doubt bc of this I would ever stay there again.

There was a party going on in the ballroom when we arrived and a lot of teenagers hanging around in the parking lot. The front desk clerk was very nice and assured us the party would be over soon. When we told him about all the teens in the parking lot and that we smelled alcohol, he was very quick to go out and put a stop to the ruckus. However, the party continued in the parking lot after they left the ballroom. They were very noisy and fighting. My husband eneded up calling the police. That did take care of the problem. After that we had a very nice stay. The room was clean. The only thing I didn't like about the room was the water stains on the ceiling. We had rain while we were there and no leaks so the problem had been fixed.

More bang for my buck at this Hotel. Friendly staff, great room for a great price.
