Mostly satisfied

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Roankoke/Hollins while attending the FiddleFest at Hollins University. Check in was smooth and manager on duty was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and bed was comfy. Our room was on the side of the hotel with all the road traffic which was a little noisy but after 11 ish the traffic slowed down a good bit. Pool water was "dark" and we decided not to swim after all. The evening attendent at the desk was a bit rude, when we asked for bottled water, which we were offered earlier in the day as "free", he asked our names and if we were "Hampton Honors Reward Clients". He gave it to us anyways. Breakfast was averaqe and the tables were'nt being cleaned up fast enough for all the families wanting to eat. The "hot food" was cool. Overall the stay was average. We usually stay at Hampton Inn's but this wasn't the best experience we've had.
