Very close to Airport
I came on a business trip and needed something close to the airport. There air plenty of hotels nearby, but I have always had good luck with Marriott chains. Everything was great except two things: No continental breakfast, (but I knew that before I booked), and housekeeping didn't come until close to 3:00. I had hoped they would come while I was in my meetings. It is rather inconvenient to have to leave your room so they can clean it.

Lot's of restaurants near the mall, which is 5 minutes away, but for those who like to try local food, Hollywood's Bakery was excellent!

Overnight Stay
A newly renovated Courtyard with a helpful staff. Stayed 1 night for a visit to Roanoke for a concert and happy with the choice. 5 minutes from mall and Civic Center so easy accessibility. Wife loved the room layout and decor. Area immediately around the hotel hurts the location a little for me.

smelly room!
While the location is great, the room smelled musty and wet. This was after we asked to switch from another room musty and wet smelling. The housekeeping service was not great. Towels very thin and rough. Seemed a bit lacking for the price.

Very Nice Stay
We loved it. The staff was nice, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. My wife thought the bed was too firm, and didn't like the connecting door to the adjacent unit. Other than that, it couldn't have been better.

Great but bed uncomfortable
Relaxed! Great location, great customer service, I would rate the front desk personal a high 10. But the bed was to soft, felt as though you was sleeping in a hole. Would not go back to Roanoke for any reason though. but would stay at another Marriot hotel.

Borderline Yucky...
All staff accept the cafe dude were RUDE... I felt like i was putting them out when I asked questions. The room was nice but NOT clean, my son found popcorn a LOT of popcorn under the bed and the toilet has urine on it... just gross... One of two double beds was so squicky, I felt like i was in my parents old bed.

Hungry mom to be...
Nice hotel very close to the airport
I normally have a quick stay here before leaving from ROA. They have completed a remodel since my last visit a few years back, so it looks modern, not as if that really matters as long as its clean. Overall it is a very nice place to stay, my only real complaint is that breakfast was not available early enough for me to partake in before catching my early flight. However it was a very early flight and I am a bit hungrier than normal.
