Seamless Stay
Spent 1 night in Richmond with little time to explore. The Marriott was easy, comfortable and large. Convenient Starbucks in the lobby. It was the weekend and the area was pretty quiet. Seems like a hotel for business rather than pleasure. Did find a great local restaurant down the block, called Pasture.

Definitely try Pasture. All local, good craft beers, very hip for the area. Feels like a cool Brooklyn restaurant.

Solid Hotel in good location
In the heart of Richmond right next to VCU and walking distance from most of my meetings downtown. Clean with a good 24/7 gym, only negative is that you have to pay about $12 a day for internet access. There is a pretty good sports bar and a Starbucks located in the lobby.

Good business trip stay
Clean, hospitible, business center was functional and well placed. Rooms were well appointed and room service was prompt. Staff were VERY professional and friendly. No room service menu in the room was the only thing that wasn't perfect.

Richmond Marriott
We were celebrating our anniversary and the hotel was lovely and close to a lot of cool places. There was a local event going on, therefore the hotel was quite packed and many people were rather loud in the hallways. Parking was not an issue, which is a big deal for downtown Richmond. Most hotels charge a lot of money for parking. We only paid $8.00 for the weekend.

Great hospitality in downtown Richmond
We enjoyed our stay at Richmond Marriott in a restored area of downtown Richmond. The Marriott is easy to find, and garage and onstreet parking is available. The staff is friendly and the rooms comfortable. The RT Grill is a great experience for sports fans. It offers a 8'X10' screen in the bar section, and 32" screens in booths that enable customers to select their favorite TV shows. We will use the Richmond Marriott for our next visit.

Make sure you visit the Picasso exhibit at the VMFA that is on display until May. It is the only showing of his work during this tour on the East Coast. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see Picasso's work in a city like Richmond!

Marriott for a conference
Great Location. Right across from the Convention Center. VERY comfortable bed. Flat screen TV was nice. Desk that swivels out was very handy. If you get a room with an adjoining door, they are paper thin. My neighbor woke me up each day. Had to pay every day for WIFI in the room unless your a member of Marriott - that was very annoying.
