So So

The room was adequate and clean. The hall way to the room was not that clean and had some odor.

Ok

Well, they assigned me two rooms. The first one, someone was still in it. The second one, someone was still in it. Then they upgraded me to a deluxe room my key would'nt work three times. Once they got my key to work, it was alright. It was comfortable but, there were alot of hassels. I traveled a long way from roanoke to midlothian and was tired. The best thing about the whole trip was my date and dinner.

Good inexpensive spot

This was a good deal for the price. No frills, but nice. Very quiet, aside from a few dogs barking every once in a while. Very friendly staff. Not the most comfortable bed and pillow, but certainly did the trick.

"Great place for lengthy stays"

Overall it was a great place to come back to after a long day of fun with family. It was comfortable and I absolutely love having the kitchen in our room. I was thankful for the ice cubes that were already made, great touch! It would have been nice to have dish soap and new towels each day. It would have also been much better if the empty room next to ours didn't have an alarm clock that went off in the wee hours of the morning until the early afternoon. I also had a hard time checking out because no one was on duty at the front desk. These are little things, but overall it was very nice. Thank you.

Don't bother

It's Family Weekend at the school. The room smelled of smoke, the carpets has burn holes in several places, the sink and counter were stained with nicotine, the halls were noisy with sounds emanating from other rooms. Not a very pleasant experience, the staff could not have cared less, a waste of money. We woke up the next morning (having the window opened all night for fresh air, our clothes smelled of smoke, our eyes were watery. NEVER AGAIN.

great place

This was a great experience. Great Staff. The location for us was great. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Easy access to the interstate highways and historical districts in the Richmond area. We liked the fact that we didn't have to go our to eat. Haing a normal size refrigerator was particularly helpful as the reason for our stay was a family reunion and we needed the extra space for food. We also enjoyed the comfort of the room. It wasn't the normal bed and tv place. We could actually be comfortable and excape from the family. Even though this hotel is located in a very busy area, it is a beautiful place with trees all around. Even if you only are staying a day or two, this place is great. Of course it is set up for long term stay, it just doesn't make any difference. I'd recommend this hotel to everyone.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

There's a great Mexican restaurant within walking distance that's just great. It has one of the largest menus I've ever seen and the prices are Very reasonaable and the staff is very friendly and make you feel right at home.
