Simple straight class

I was in town to visit the U of R law school and stayed at Embassy Suites Richmond, just a few miles away. It's a very nice hotel. The staff was attentive and checked my in quickly and efficently. The room was nice, clean, and well taken care of, in fact my only complaint was the veiw. My third floor windoe looked only onto the roof of the banqueting section. Well worth the money for the stay.

great stay

We were very pleased with our stay. The value was great, the breakfast buffet was exceptional. We did not attend the manager's reception, but what we saw looked very nice. We swam in the pool and used the hot tub. Enjoyed the large suite with micro wave, refrigerator, and 2 tv's. All in all we thought for the money it was a great, great value.

Great Value

The complimentary breakfast was excellent & the service staff assigned was curteous, helpfull & did all they could to make you feel right at home. During breakfast I had a spill & [...] was Johnny on the spot with a quick helpful clean up. One puzzling thing did occur during the manager's reception, a 1/2 hr after the end of the assigned time they came around & collected your unfinished drink & would not let you nurse it while you watched the game. Overall the staff was amazing I would stay again & recommend it to others.

Wedding Trip

Enjoyed stay; Convenient location to botanical gardens where wedding was held. Like the hospitality happy hour but thought the complementary breakfast was very crowded.

Served its purpose

Have used this location several times in the past when visiting the Richmond area. Hotel has been given a face lift which is nice, staff very professional. Was disappointed in Managers Reception. Use to be much nicer. Not enough tables set up for breakfast.

Great Value for Family of Four

We travel around the world and enjoy staying at Embassy Suites because of the true suites structure of the hotel and always being assured to start the day with a great breakfast. I was a little disappointed with housekeeping at this location. The firest day, wet dirty towels were not picked up. If a family of four is registered into the room, more than two or three face towels are needed. The front desk and food service staff were excellent.
