not the best
There were two bugs in the room and there was no hand soap. They can do better. Not worth $50

Decent
Not a bad place for what you pay for. There was construction on the road the hotel is located and not the best part of town but it was quiet and right off of the highway for convienence. There were plenty of stores near by for food and etc. with a little authentic Mexican restaurant next door.

Great Weekend
Good experience, have stayed at this hotel in the past. We like this one because of the cleanliness of the rooms and the closeness to the places we want to visit. Staff is very friendly...we will stay here again.

Not worth the money
The roomt that had NO Internet, NO alarm clock, NO telephone, and it needed serious maintenance. The shower handle kept falling off. The bathroom door was warped and could not be closed. The coat rack behind the door was broken and unuseable. Unpainted plywood had been used to repair items like the towel rack and the toilet paper holder. When we mentioned these items to the front desk clerk, his dismissive reply was hey it's the Econo Lodge. They DID offer us a different room for the 2nd night, but from what we saw it really wasn't worth moving...

A Bargain
The price was fantastic. free continental breakfast complete with a free USA Today newspaper. The room was ample with two beds, a table, microwave and frig. It was quiet even though just a block from a freeway exit. The bathroom was separate from the vanity area. There was a good restaurant next door, etc.

The EconoLodge was in an unexpectedly ghetto-like area--lots of noise and lots of litter and debris outside. Oh, well, it served the purpose, barely.

Short drive from hotel
There is a Dollar store across the street, and a 7/11 within 2 miles for basic supplies. Restaurants are located several miles to the west, however, as is the shopping mall.
