The staff was very courteous and efficient. I got checked in very quickly. The room was clean and comfortable as were the hallways and elevators. The hotel has been well maintained. I did not use the restaurant as I did not have time. There is plenty of parking and it was a quiet stay.

Great Stay , friendly staff
I went to Richmond to visit friends and had not planned on staying but as time passed and the fun increased - I [...] booked at The Crown Plaza for a decent price. The staff was very friendly she checked me in very fast and told me "we'll take care of you if you need anything"!The room was clean, the bathroom was bright, the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows! The parking lot was spacious and well lit! The lobby was nicely decorated and clean!! Besides being located across from an elevator (which didn't bother me that night ). I slept soundly, and had a good stay! I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel was centrally located to O'charleys, Friday's and Denny's depending on preference. The Crown Plaza is directly across from Sunset bowling alley - if you want to get in a couple games which I did!

Two guys
Good stay
Stayed for two nights visiting family in Richmond. Weather snowy and cold--we needed a warm refuge. This place did the trick--room was cold on entering but individual heating unit did fine, but had to set to 74. Older building (maybe from the 60s). Room clean, service very friendly and accomodating. Many pillows. The hotel has large indoor kidney shaped pool with hot tub spa with an adjacent fitness center that had all the basics needed. Though this overflowed staff were quick to come and address this. Did not try restaurant which seemed a bit pricey and upscale.

Crown Plaza Hotel Richmond West
My sister and I went to visit my daughter at U Richmond. We couldn't get the Omni so we stayed here and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spotless and the hotel restaurant breakfast was really good. Our heater did not work well so when we reported it they gave us free breakfast both days and offered to move us. They were very accommodating.It was close to shopping and a short ride to campus.

Excellent Choice for the Holidays
We LOVED Crowne Plaza Hotel Richmond West. We have tried several hotels for Christmas stays: This is the best for front desk and housekeeping staff, response to any minor problem, price for the holiday stay, and very nice rooms. Hotel has been renovated, so I would ignore any old reviews about site. The restaurant did seem expensive for family dining.

:Pleasurable Stay
The entire staff was friendly and willing to help. The hotel was easy to find and located in a good area. The rooms were clean and cozy and lots of fluffy pillows on the beds to help make it a restful night.

Good Hotel but a car is necessary
without a car there is not much you can do around there. You can not walk in this area. Hotel is great. but much more applicable for business travel. Nothing available within walking distance

Good Hotel, Friendly Staff
I've stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions, and I've rarely had any issues with the service or the rooms. While it lacks some of the amenities of the downtown Crowne Plaza, the price is great and the location is good for those needing to travel throughout the Richmond area.
