Conveniently located hotel minutes from downtown Richmond
Comfort Inn Conference Center Midtown is located just minutes from downtown Richmond and only one mile from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the Science Museum of Virginia, and the Children's Museum of Richmond. It's a bed
If you're looking for a bed to sleep in, they've got them at the Comfort Inn. If you're looking for anything else, you should probably go elsewhere. That said, it's a great location; I stayed there after going to a New Years party so I didn't really care what the room was like. If I'm ever in that part of Richmond again, I'd consider staying there again.

Affordable Hotel in Richmond
Experience was overall good, although they rushed me out because of they were booked for the weekend. The lady at the front desk told me "that I better not shower" when I came to the hotel after the Marathon to pack my bags. Good thing I have thick skin.

Good Cheap Hotel
The hotel was good for the price, and close to central Richmond, but it seemed like it wasn't in the best neighborhood.

NO Toothbrush
I forgot my toothbrush. I went to the lobby for an extra. Not even a toothbrush for sale, which I would have gladly purchased to save the trouble of going out to find a store at 10:00 pm. All the front desk guy could do was offer directions to the nearest grocery store. SUPER LAME.

Once upon a ........
Once upon a time this was a great hotel. Unfortunately time has not been kind to it. The price and location are it's only saving graces today. Very convenient to Cary St and VMFA. The clerk was very attentive and friendly. The room was clean and neat but dated. The bed was comfortable and clean. No exhaust fan in bathroom. I would stay at this hotel again for price.

just ok.
Stayed for one night, and thought since the hotel is on Broad Street, it would be closer to more places to walk to, and shop or eat. This part of town was much sketchier than I thought, and the hotel was not that nice. I guess you get what you pay for; but it was quite dingy, smelly, and the staff was not friendly. I would not stay there again, as I think there are better options for the same price.

Positives and Negatives
Positives - great price, nice staff, free internet and parking, the room was clean, nice breakfast in the morning Negatives - location not so great, parking garage is on the lower level and is very open, not gated so anyone can walk in there so I didn't feel as safe walking to and from my car in the garage, but that could also be because I was very unfamiliar with the location Overall - this hotel is as nice as a 2-2.5 star hotel can be, but I didn't feel as safe as I otherwise would have in a different location. Overall, I would recommend it if you are looking for something very affordable and you are a guy. If you were a single traveling female, I would not recommend this hotel.
