No way at the Baymont, Richmond
The furniture in the lobby was stained and filthy. Assumed the same about the room. We opted not to check in.

Price was amazing
As far as location, this was great. However, the bed comforter just looked dirty. This is not a great hotel, but for the money it was just fine. I only spent one night. This has to be the most quiet hotel in which I've stayed.

More to Be Desired
We used the outdoor pool which was clean but too small. There was no staff available when we had problems with the toilet and we were changed to another room. Definitely a hotel to just rest your head for a night. Not very family oriented at all.

OK Stay
The hotel was typical of those in that price range -- it performs its function as a place to sleep and not much else. The room was clean and, thankfully, quiet. Neither the safe nor the hairdryer worked. The bathroom looked clean but in need of some updating. The bed was comfortable. There were no TV listings provided, and I had to call the front desk to ask about the internet access. The free breakfast was more extensive than some other hotels provide (with both eggs and waffles available), but nothing fancy.

The hotel is located on West Broad Street, which, for those who haven't been to Richmond before, is a long road containing just about every shop and restaurant imaginable. Baymont is conveniently located, and it is a short drive to any dining you want, from fast food to chains to local favorites.

One night stay
MY wife and I just stayed for one night as we were only traveling through , The hotel was nice enough, the bathroom was very clean. The hotel breakfast was wonderful, with lots of options

"Unbeatable location for the price"
Nice place need to pay attention to the rooms when they vacuum they missed alot of little things like fake fingernails and burnt matches.

Value in this location
I was surprised at the low price and decided to give it a try. The linens were clean, and the bed was comfortable, but the walls of the room and the bathroom needed repair and there was not wireless internet. It was a good value for the money in this location if all you want is a place to sleep, but I would not stay again as my sinuses were negatively affected, maybe by the room deodorizer they use, and I can afford to pay for something better.
