Decent hotel for the money

This America's Best Value Inn was well worth the price. The room was large and included a table and two chairs, a desk area with a chair, a large dresser and a separate vanity area. The layout allows you to park right in front of your hotel room, helpful in iffy weather situations. The neighborhood is a bit rough, so it's a good idea to know where and how you're getting from place to place. The hotel didn't have newspapers or brochures on hand at all. The hotel lists wireless internet as an extra, but I was never able to get a signal. The front desk wasn't very knowledgeable about the connection and didn't seem to care that it didn't work. The room had a microwave and a mini-fridge and a 27inch tv with cable. I'd recommend this place if you're not too particular and you don't mind some wear and tear on your room. It was worth the money and I'd stay there again.

struggling with maintenance

ceiling peeling - brackets on wall falling - crumbling of walls in some places - unsafe area of town - would not recommend and would not stay at this location again.
