Great Location!
This hotel is located right on the harbor. I'm sure if the season was better it would have been even better than it was.

Norfolk Sheraton
the mattress was as hard as a rock and the pillows were so flat that not even stacking all four of them was enough to keep me comfortable. and charging $10/day for internet is just crazy.

perfect bliss
It was the best hotel experiance I ever had. Hotel staff, housekeeping and valet was marvelous thhought out my entire stay. 10 stars!!

St Valentine's
Great Hotel, but Bad organization!......
It was St Valentine's week end, booked a club level king room with all the extra trimmings.... Was promised a club level check in, club lounge, concierge and everything you expect of a club level.... Unfortunately, the club service was closed for the weekend!!!........

a decent stay
While a bit tired in its appearance, the hotel is comfortable and offers access to nicer parts of Norfolk. The rooms are nothing special if not a bit "old" in style and ammenities. I was suprised not to find a safe in the room to keep my wallet when I left my room. No Wi-Fi connection for internet access. I used the fitness center which was a bit crampted and hot but still offered enough equipment to get a decent work-out. I ordered room service, too tired from a long day of travel to venture donwtsaird to the hotel restaurant. The meal arrived cold and soggy and 5 minutes past their gurantee of 30 minute delivery. Overall, it's a decent nights stay with a great view of the water.

Suit for purpose
Staff very friendly. Room was large and clean although a bit dark (city view room). Suitable for an overnight stay for a business meeting (my second stay in past 18 months). Close to downtown/atractions so imagine not a bad choice for tourists. Free internet in the lobby but considering the room price I didn't see the need to charge extra for internet access in the room.

Nice location with chain restaurants around the corner (waterside) but I would recommend walking a few mintues to Granby street for more dining choices.

Wonderful accomodations
We walked to local restaurants, museums and to the Wisconsin. We additionally traveled to Virginia Beach and found the beach to be clean, the water warm and easily accessible.

Doumar's. It is a nationally known ice cream and drive in food restaurant. The food was inexpensive, homey and quickly delivered to our car The home made ice cream cones are the best I have ever had.
