"not worth what i paid"
The room had a terrible smell. The a/c didnt work all that great. The ceiling in the room & bathroom was peeling!!!

Great Stay
I opted to stay at Ramada Inn Norfolk after having a not so good experience at a near hotel. this was my 2nd time in norfolk as i was looking for an apartment since i was relocating back to the area. this hotel was great. i checked in and i asked for a room in the front as i was staying alone. the staff accomodated me with no problem. My room was very clean and the wi-fi worked perfect. I stayed for 2 nights which was a thurs and friday. both nights i felt safe and didnt feel the need to call the front desk for noise disturbance. When i return to the area next week i will be staying at ramada inn norfolk again.

Quick Stay
decent
overall room was decent and livable. The top bedspread had cigarette holes in it. but we usually just throw that on the floor and ignore it for the entire stay.The toilet paper was hard as a rock. I was sick the entire weekend so we needed to buy our own at 7-11. Also when i tried blow drying my hair the power went out. so i use the hotel blow dryer and the power in the room went out again. the hotel was very quick to turn it back on tho. The trip was meant for the beach so it was about a 15 minute cap drive to get to the beach. I was hoping to be out of the room as much as possible but unfortunately, like is said i was sick all weekend.

Decent hotel stay
My family and I visited the hotel due to my graduating from Old Dominion University the weekend of December 18th. The hotel was decent, clean and the microwave and refrigerator were in working condition. The only issue that I experienced with this visit is the heating system was not warming properly. I wanted to stay an additional night, when I called to ask for additional charges to spend another night; the charge went from $59.99 to $81.20. My family and I decided to check into another hotel with a more reasonable rate.

Bad
The hotel room 121 has holes in the walls. I had to program room key three time. Out dated TV's, A/C Heater unit face falling apart. One interesting thing, housekeeping employee not uniformed giving a sense of insecurity in the premises.
