Horrible customer service
Absolutely horrid!!! The service and attitude of wait staff was pathetic. We left 10 hours after arriving...made a reservation with Marriot! That was the smartest thing I ever did...definitely made up for the train wreck at Holiday Inn Select!

Proud Mom of an ODU Graduate
Great Stay except for one hitch!
Was there for my son's college graduation and commissioning as an officer in the Army. Room was perfect, hotel clean, great breakfast buffet. Just one problem - they didn't clean room one day and when I told front desk clerk and just asked for towels, etc till it can get cleaned the next day, it took another phone call to find out where my towels were. She lied and told me they came to my room to deliver them. Not true; never came; we were in room all night. She even hung up on me when I told her no one came. Well, one bad employee shoudn't make anyone's stay uncomfortable and ruin the hotel's reputation. Housekeeping was kind and made up for the mistake. I suggested they counsel the front desk clerk about her customer interface. All in all, I'd stay again! Hope that front desk learns to be honest and accommodating when I go back.

Holiday Inn Norfolk Airport
Staff very friendly. Hotel room has seen better days - scuff marks and dirty walls, stained carpet. My room did not have a remote or an internet cable, the soda machine was out of bottled water and the ice machine was super loud.

Not what I expected
Great location,ok room
Hotel Lobby was well kept. The room needed update,glass doors & windows needed cleaning.I was expecting or hoping this hotel would be nicer.

Great service!
We always use this hotel when visiting family in the area. It is so close to the airport, and yet convenient to other area attractions. It has comfortable rooms and great amenities. Particularly good is the decision to go entirely smoke-free throughout the hotel. Previously, when the bar was open, one was greeted with the smell of tobacco smoke in the lobby. Yeckk!

Fantastic and Close to Airport
Very clean and the staff was friendly. The staff gave suggestions for eating out when the hotel dining closed. Very comfortable bed and super clean room. Close to the airport which is great for early morning flights and returning rental cars.

We were snowed in and couldn't leave. They even provided FREE breakfast for all of the people in the hotel.
