Days Inn Norfolk

Location to the airport was excellent ,And close to the beach As a older hotel it needs an upgrade, not necessarily a remodel but every thing was old, the door locks did not have the slide over and catch lock it was a dead bolt lock with a chain. The bathroom toilet had a pink mold ring in it and hair in shower drain from the last person. I was there because my family is ill in the nursing home all I needed at that was a clean bed, which it was. would I stay there again NO!

...will I stay at this place. Wear boots because the carpet old and filthy!!!!!!!!!!!! Not a clean place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel was basically in the ghetto! The hotel staff was unfriendly. The room was disgusting! As soon as I walked in, I was hit in the face with the smell of cigarette smoke, when it was a non-smoking room. I was ready to leave the next day, but my husband convinced me to stay and make the most of it. If you are prepared to live in filth, then this place is for you. If i had a family, I would NOT stay here!!! Spend a little more money to stay in a clean and safe hotel!

Room wasnt ready when we get there we had to wait 10 min..to get the clean room we came back after 30 mins room still wasnt ready.. they guy @ welcome desk gave us another room. which smell bad and mattress had dirt and blood stains on it. I will never book a hotel with days Inn.

This hotel is terrible. It was nasty, unkept, fixtures were broken, the pool had been out of commission for sometime and they did not bother to tell anyone. There was alot of rift/raft at the hotel, hard to get sleep when people are yelling and hollering all night. I have stayed in $50 hotels that were alot better taken care and cleaner. This is a dump.

After a long day of traveling, my boyfriend and I were absolutely exhausted and arrived extremely late. Were ready to get a good nights rest but the first problem was that I could hardly understand the front desk attendant! All I wanted was my room key ! Then he proceeded to complain about how late he stayed up waiting for us. Isn't there supposed to be someone there 24/7 anyway? Then the room echoed because there was nothing but a bed and an extension chord. I've stayed at days inn before, but never one on my own country I couldn't understand. Finally, when I checked out the next day, I soon found an additional unknown charge to my bank account from the days inn that was unexplainable. I hate hidden charges. Not a satisfied customer this time.

Awaful awaful do not stay at this hotel ,please take this hotel off the list as a star hotel.it's nasty not professional.surrounding is bad they have no good Internet connection.cold breakfast.Never vacuum the floor.Hair on the bathroom floor an in the tub

Not a nice place too lay your head, dirty never vacuum the floor hair in the bathroom sink floor and shower never made the bed ,but did give us clean towels.Would never return to the hotel again .I guess u get what you paid for.Really need to update the hotel and better cleaning staff

For the price we paid it was pretty good. Nothing fancy but it worked just fine.
