Sisters' Weekend
Best Western Ocean View 8/20 - 8/23
The service was A-1 with the most pleasant staff. Rooms were very clean - I hesitate to say spotless only because of the rug. What we regretted in the location was that we had to travel by car for all our meals. That is no fault of the hotel. We loved the beach area right there and that is what we went there for anyway. We will return.

A really nice place to stay
Had a really great time. Super beach to walk on and play on.Staff was very nice, The breakfast was good.

Very pleasant, kitchenette helpful, room clean, service great. I wish window view to ocean was bigger, and could open to hear the ocean waves. Service/Housekeeping people were most helpful. Breakfast was very nice.

Your Hotel was a dump. Literally,
Your Hotel was a dump. Literally, there was garbage next to the Hotel. Furthermore, The neighborhood was a scary invironment for any family. I will not be back.

wedding party stay
hotel was in great location very pleased with most everything except housekeeping. never cleaned had to ask fot towels and trashbags

Not all its cracked up to be
We gave this hotel a try as we thought it would have been competitive being on the "ocean front" which was more like the "Bay front". The suite had a very small bathroom, outdated TVs, and did not have a door seperating the living area from the bedroom. Also, the rooms were so close together that you could hear every sound known to man. There were guests yelling from the balcony to other people in their party, children running out of control, and sounds in between the walls that were unpleasant. Also, you could vividly hear police and ambulance sirens during the night which was irritating. I think we paid too much for the experience we received. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone I know.

lovely setting
I was very impressed with service everyone was very nice and helpfull. The price was the best for what you got. Your right on the beach and could walk out on it with no problem. Also liked that they had BBQ's on property. We didn't use them or the pool, was still alittle cool. Will plan another trip when the weather is warmer and have more time to use all facilities. Our son was is in the navy so great location between both bases.

Beachfront fun!
Best hotel for the money!
This hotel was the perfect place for our travels! Although the decor is a little out dated, don't let it fool you. This hotel is wonderful. If you want to have a great beach holiday, this is the place to go. The hotel is really affordable and really friendly. They are right on the beach and will even loan you beach chairs! They have a breakfast, though it is a little too rich for my tastes. No question, my family and I would stay here again and happily!

Great place to stay...
This hotel was very nice, along with the staff. They have a great location and very nice. Spotless rooms, and GREAT breakfast. We came to see our son that is the Marine Corps., that just got home from Cuba. We were less then 10 min. from the base. When we go back to Norfolk this will be the place we stay at.

Ocean View...we were on the 4th floor so we slept with the door open to hear the ocean.
