My son and I was in town attending a friend's hawaiian themed party. When we checked in, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. A friend of mine also reserved a suite, and I was hoping to be next door to them. Unfortunately since my friend rented a suite, they were located on the outside while I was located indoor. It was great because it was pouring the night we checked in. The pool is indoor (although it was not heated, it was good enough to use for an hour's worth of swim. My stay also included free breakfast, they had cereals, hot breakfast, and orange juices and coffee. Our room was too cold to begin with (I'm more of a tropical girl), after the temperature adjustment, the room feels cozy and comfortable. Overall, the stay was very pleasant. I would stay there again if they have a rate promo, and I would try another hotel within the vicinity to compare.

The room was nice breakfast was delicious. The only black spot on the trip was the front desk clerk spend six minutes on a personal call before checking us in.

rooms large, stunk of smoke, in a non smoking room. keys/locks were not functioning well. loud neighbors from 5am onward. needed some repairs. remote didn't work. A/C good,towels good, hot water.

I stayed from 5/4 thru 5/7...The reason for this trip was to visit with my son stationed in Newportnews...The breakfast was good but the room was something to be desired...The time I was there housekeeping did not step foot in my room to make the bed or clean towel...In the draws were letters from the previous person...They do have housekeeping I seen them out in the hall just not in the room...Wonder how well they clean between customers or do they...Not very happy!

one night stay.... easy in easy out to the highway and convenient to where we needed to be. good selection of breakfast offerings. Clean and Neat.

This hotel was convenient to the event I was attending and is easy to get to from the interstate. The first room given to us smelled bad and a check of the room revealed mold built up in the AC unit. We were moved to another room without argument. The staff were very nice. The second room smelled fresh and the AC unit looked much cleaner; however the bathroom vent was coated with a thick layer of dust. The beds were clean and comfortable. We were provided only one coffee cup, but luckily we brought our own. The breakfast was very good. We did not use the pool or exercise room. We stayed only one night as planned and it served the purpose.

I thought the staff was really great - ALWAYS pleasant and accomodating - it was so refreshing to experience that!! My suite would probably be considered nothing fancy, but it was very nice, very comfortable and very clean, with the added television features, free wi-fi and free breakfast, I thought it was a fabulous deal for the price - and we were also convenient to so many things around us!! The one thing that was inconvenient was the fact that our suite was separate from the rest of the hotel, but unless it's freezing out, it's not too bad I suppose!

Somehow I was expecting something a little nicer, although the room wasn't bad. As others have said, the wireless is pretty slow. The TV was an old Zenith SDTV tube. The room didn't have a vanity mirror, which was a real negative for the two females. The "restaurant" is only open for the breakfast buffet and the "bar" was never open - I assume it is only for parties and receptions. The breakfast buffet was substandard - the scrambled eggs tasted like they were powdered and the pastry selection was dull. Most unforgivable was the coffee - I expect the coffee makers in the room to be bad but you have to be able to get decent coffee somewhere on the property. So maybe for the money it wasn't terrible but I'll be staying somewhere else if I'm in the area again.

I loved the decor and layout of this hotel. Very clean, friendly service, quiet area, just all around great.
