Had to leave

We arrived to find a wedding party in the lobby and I was told we could not get our money back. So we went to the pool and we were chased out by the wedding party moving to the pool and we didn't even have room to swim. They were loud and we were actually scared to stay there so we left at 8pm and called to tell the desk. Very disappointed and would like my money back; after all we did not even stay the night and could not use the pool.

Little things ruined the stay

The hotel advertised that they had a restaurant and lounge - which they did not. Both were closed for renovations. Hotel lacked assertive security to controll wild children. Maintenance issues not addressed - Phone not working, pool area dirty, and housekeeping did not clean my room till after 5pm. I asked for housekeeping at 10am. No restaurants within walking distance.

Extra Charges, Rude Receptionist

We were moving to the area and chose the hotel based on the fact that they took pets [...]. There was nothing on their site about extra charges for pets. When we arrived, they told us that there was a $50 non-refundable charge for having a pet - almost double the cost of the room. The receptionist was quite rude and gruff. She was abrasive and argumentative. The room was OK - nothing special and a little worn, but it was fairly clean. Save yourself the hassle and stay at a friendly place that won't try to nickel and dime you with extra charges. La Quinta hotels are a much better bet for travelers with pets in our experience.

Worst V-Day Ever

This was the worst hotel i think i have ever been in. They put m in the wrong room at first i had to call to get the executive suite that i had purchased online, My one and half year old handed me a some kida pill she found on the floor, there was no battery in the smoke detector, the couch was badly ripped, found reciept from 2008 in pillowcase, serve cracks in ceilings, stink bugs in drawers, pubic hair in shower, thats just nasty, as i was checking out i was explaining to the woman at the front desk the issues i had with the room i had recieved. She inormed me there was no manager on duty so i couldn't speak to anyone, she then said i can ive you a free meal next door. Which i fund rather insulting. So We paid $132 for a special valentines day suite which turned out to be very dissapointing.

Ants in room. Party above the rooms ... Keep everyone up all night. Front desk people didn't seem to care. They were either laughing and playing around. Or watching T.V.

Never again!

I stayed from 5/4 thru 5/7...The reason for this trip was to visit with my son stationed in Newportnews...The breakfast was good but the room was something to be desired...The time I was there housekeeping did not step foot in my room to make the bed or clean towel...In the draws were letters from the previous person...They do have housekeeping I seen them out in the hall just not in the room...Wonder how well they clean between customers or do they...Not very happy!

Please Run don't walk away from this place

Upon arrival it took me forever to get waited on. The staff was too busy discussing weekend plans. Once we got to our first room there was trash on top of the dressers. i went to ask them to clean it up and when i returned my daughter had checked the bathroom. There were dirty towels left in the bathtub and soap and wrappers left on the bathroom. They changed us to another room that took another 30 minutes. In the new room the sheet was ripped and had bun holes in it. The next night we came in to find a large cockroach in the bathroom i captured it and the staff removed it. When we came back the next evening they had left dirty rags on our night stand. The breakfast was horrible. Cheap sausage over cooked to the point you couldn't eat it. No hot water for tea or the oatmeal they had out.
