Motel 6 Newport News

No shampoo and towels thin. Room had fresh smell and bedding okay. Free wireless service, although unsecured.

You get what you pay for. Friendly staff. Their were 2 problems I had with this motel.There was 1 iron for motel guest to use (excluding ironing board) and you needed to purchase wi-fi cards daily for internet access ($2.99./24hr period).

The permanent motel community was nicesince it seemed that some of the residents had been provided emergency or low income housing. The location placed me near many American Historical museums and sites which providing wonderful learning opportunities.

I was there to visit my children and grandchildren, only to be greeted by an infestation of nats, flies. There were no signs to put out to say please clean room, or please do not disturb. I was appalled at the price Motel 6 charged and what you receive is stealing. I will never stay at that Motel 6 again. Possibly never to stay at Motel 6. I guess it's true what they say, you get what you pay for. I paid 40.00 per night and got nothing but horrible conditions. TV, old and outdated, I wanted to bring my grandchildren over but you couldn't hook a simple play station or dvd player to entertain a 5 and a 6 year old. The pillows if you put four of them together you may get the feel of one. This is bad business

It was very dirty, didn't clean room while we was there. We had to call them to empty trash and vaccum the floor. blood spots was behind the door when enter the room. We would never stay at this hotel again.

Hotel was very scary. Rooms were dirty and not kept very well. Staff was friendly. Overall I would never stay here again. Its not a good sign when cops are roaming around all night. It was cheap however.

The Motel 6 was what I expected for the amount of money I paid. The room was a nice size but there were stains on the floor and cigarette burns in the comforter (in a non-smoking room). The hotel was located right off a major highway and was easy to find. Unfortunately it seemed that every time after the maid cleaned our room, the room key wouldn't work and we would have to go get a new one. On the bright side the AC blew nice and cold.

my stay at motel 6 in newport news va was a pleasent one. the only issue i had was the ac was broken but i call the front desk and they we're very helpful in getting some one to come fix it. great location close to everything and i will really recommend a friend to stay. for the cheap price and clean and nice rooms.

The hotel did not include as many features as I expected; however, it was centrally located to allow easy access to every place we wanted to visit. Being so close to the highway is another plus.

Motel 6 located in Newport News, VA was a comfortable stay for the short period of time of my visit. The motel met all of my needs. The staff was friendly and professional. The bathroom amenities were good.
