it was clean and perfectly located. Its a place to end the day to go and sleep.

PERFECTLY LOCATED NICE PLACE TO CRASH AT END OF A DAY

Place is not too bad for the cost, been here for business more than I like to say done paying high prices this place works fine

Visited with my Aunt who lives in Newport News. Yes, the microwave was missing, but we had a refrig and a good breakfast, muffins, waffles, bagles, coffee and juices. I used the exercise treadmill and bike every morning. The night clerk, a nice young man studying to be a nurse, was very nice and gave me a bottle of his own water.The motel could use a good cleaning especially the carpets and the elevator. The towels were skimpy but they gave us extra when we asked for them. For the price, it was overall good. Next time take some pillows (theirs were skimpy) and towels. A good location for my needs. And I will go again.

room was so so, air conditionair was very dirty did not use. Bed had big brown stain on side of it, pillow was stained. Not very sound proof heard everything in all sorrounding rooms. Breakfeast was weak, most of all staff was not very freindly.

I travel a great deal. The Hotel website said microwaves were in every room..I checked in to find I did not have a microwave, the front desk clerk told me not all rooms had them, "what did I expect her to do"..I had to ask(beg) to change rooms. I had a microwave, I also asked for a smoking room. No ashtrays, I went back downstairs to ask(the phones don't work)for an ashtray and the clerk told me they don't have any, she told her manager a month ago they had none. Again, she said nothing she could do. They also said they had window seats with cushions in every room...except mine. Cleanliness was lacking to say the least. I would not recommend this hotel to a dog! A complete waste of money!

The hotel was less than desired. We have stayed at other Microtels and so decided to stay here. Well, not all Microtels are held to the same standard. To begin, the elevator smelt of smoke. We had a smoke free room and yet the bedding still smelt like smoke. The bathroom was so horrible we only used it when necessary. The sink was covered in burns from cigarettes, there were only 2 towels and two pillows. The next morning we checked out and went elsewhere. We didn't even take a shower! I definately would not stay here!

First night of our trip, so just stayed overnight on our way to our next destination.

This is the second time I stayed there and have enjoyed both times. I will plan to stay there again. The only problem I had at the check in time was that they tried to give me a smoking room, where I had requested a non-smoking room. The young girl tried to explain to me that they had to give me the smoking room that was available and only non-smoking if available. I explained I would be sick, so she found a non-smoking room. She was young. The tv had good stations and a hispanic station. I like that. All the good eating places were close as were the malls and my Aunt's house, so it was very nice place to stay.

TAKING FAMILY TO BUSCH GARDENS AND WERE LOOKING FOR AFFORDABLE HOTEL. THIS HOTEL IS ABOUT 15 MIN DRIVE FROM BUSCH GARDENS BUT WELL WORTH IT. THE LADY AT COUNTER WAS POLITE AND IT TOOK ONLY ABOUT 2 MINTUES TO CHECK IN. ROOM WAS CLEAN AND SO WAS THE BATHROOM AND A/C WORKED GREAT. THEY HAD CONTENTAL BREAKFAST NEXT MORNING WITH REAL BAGELS NOT THE MINI ONES OTHER PLACES PASS OFF AS BAGELS. ACORSS THE STREET WAS A MALL AND FEW NICE RESTERANTS WHICH WE ATE AT. I WAS SUCH A NICE CONTRAST TO THE PLACE WE STAYED THE DAY BEFORE THAT WAS NEXT TO THE PARK WE WILL BE BACK KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
