Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites NEWPORT NEWS

This was a clean hotel with a friendly staff. The beds are very comfortable. You're getting a great value with this property. While driving around the area, I noticed that this Holiday Inn looked like one of the best kept hotels in this range. We stayed here during a visit to CNU. Definitely recommend.

I believe this hotel offers a nice, comfortable room at a reasonable price. My room was clean with a nice flat screen TV. A king leisure, it also had a single cup coffee makerand small refrigerator. The bed was comfortable with a nice selection of pillows. A small loveseat was also in the room. I didn't try the on-site Italian restaurant. For fast food folks, there are a few within a mile of the location. It's adjacent to the freeway so getting anywhere on the Peninsula is a breeze. Visiting my family in the area, this is my second stay here. I would definitely return.

We went to our youngest son's graduation from Ft. Eustis. The staff here was very helpful and the restaurant was excellent. We will definitely go back again.

Truly enjoyed the stay at Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites in Newport News. Rooms were clean, staff members were always very helpful and professional and also the cleaning staff was cheerful and friendly! The Resturant/Bar is conveniently located downstairs, an indoor pool, fitness room (although the fitness room could stand a bit more ventilation with the pool right outside of it), small laundry room and plenty of parking, all in all, made for an enjoyable week. I'd stay again without a doubt! Good job Holiday Inn!

It was right next to the highway and it made everything easy to get to and it was easy to find.

I traveled around the city to meetings. Being informed of the contential breakfast by the clerk.

The hotel picked me up at the airport with a complementary shuttle. I arrived at about 9 pm and was able to have a good dinner with wine at the hotel's restaurant. It was good not to have to go out for dinner after traveling for 16 hours. The room was comfortable although it was difficult to control the room's temperature. I also had difficulty using the room's wifi. Because I was staying several days breakfast was included in the cost. The restaurant had a good buffet. The last morning I was there I set the phone's wake-up call for 6:15 am. It didn't go off and I awoke at 7:15 am. I rushed to get to the 7:30 shuttle. Good thing I had packed and taken a shower the night before. I complained to the front desk and the agent there said only, "We've had trouble with the wake-up calls. We see that you set the call, but it never happened." If I had not had the problem with the wake-up call, the room temperature, or the wifi, I would have given the hotel a 4 star rating.

I was late checking into the Hotel and they were very nice and plesant. On the second night I had a freind who slept over and they provided a roll-away bed in the middle of the night. They let my grandchildren go swimming while I was away. My friend had a pet and they recommended the hotel across the street....because I wanted an indoor pool. The entire experience was just wonderful.

The hotel check in was flawless. Room (king/leisure) was well appointed & clean with small refrig., microwave and single serve coffee maker. Bed was nice with good assortment of pillows. Can't go wrong with free wi-fi. Adjacent to freeway, but quiet. Convenient to all area attractions/shopping.

i was only in town for a few days but it was a great trip. the room was just the same as the review picture on the website. i was very pleased. i would definitly stay again. the staff was friendly and check-in and check-out was fast and easy. no complaints
