Nice place at a reasonable price
Reserved two rooms for our adult sons and us to see the Monty Python musical Spamalot at the Christopher Newport University Ferguson Center. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, it's close to shopping, dining and the University.

Overall and excellent hotel
The hotel and staff were great. The movie network did not work. The breakfast buffet was great and so was the chef and waitress. But when you order in the evening thru the grill. It has my rating of being very poor and this includes the waitress. The NY strip steak which was suppose to be 8 oz. Well let me put it this way I got more meat on my quarter pounder. It was burnt, dry. At 19 dollars this is unforgiven. My daughter ordered chicken marsala . I have had chicken marsala and this was not it at 17 dollars. My grandaughter ordered chicken alfredo. She says Granma this is horrible. Our dinner was a total 50 dollars. Not worth it it by far. They need to come to Texas and learn how to cook a steak. There are alot of local resturants nearby. Great food too. There were plenty of things to do and we did alot of them.

My Stay
I appreciate the hotel's great location between restaurants, airport, and shopping. The rooms were nice and clean, however every night I went to bed, I seemed to wake up with some type of bug bite. Are you aware of the hotel having any type of pest problems or bed bugs? I had never experienced a pest problem at any other hotel.

I thought everything was great. I had a very comfortable stay while i was in town visiting my husband who is in USCG school. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. It was quiet and the staff was very nice. Breakfast was good. Loved the free wi-fi

Great family fun
My family and I had a great stay. The staff was wonderful, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. This will be our choice everytime we travel.

This hotel is surrounded by lots of great places to dine. There is something for everyone within a one mile radius. The complimentary breakfast is the best! My family really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was most satisfying starting with checking in. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and it was very quiet. Amenities were a pool, spa and exercise room which were fine except the air conditioner was out in the fitness room. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.
