Candlewood Suites MANASSAS

The room was spacious, clean, and had everything that we needed. Ditto with the motel itself. I forgot my toiletry bag, and everything I needed was in the pantry. All was great with our stay here, and we also got a great price........would stay here again for sure in the area, and recommend it to anyone.

A friend and I booked this hotel for a concert at Jiffy Lube Live. The hotel was very clean, and the size of the room (I got a standard suite, so the kitchen and bedroom, and bathroom were separate rooms. They don't have many extras (aka lotion, shampoo and conditioner supplies for coffee besides the actual coffee itself) but I wasn't too worried about that. However, when I checked in they swiped for card "In case something was damaged." Fine. I asked them if they were actually charging anything to my card, in which they said no. I happened to check my bank statement the day after I checked out, only to find a $25 fee was taken out. I called them, and they said this "must have been a security deposit" (this makes me think they charge different rates depending on circumstances)I explained that when I asked if any money was taken out, I was told no. "Oh," was the person's reaction. I was told the money would be released the next day. It's two days later and they have not yet. In all honesty, $25 is not a huge deal, it's that I was told they weren't charging me and are being very slow to give it back. If you know what you're getting into, the hotel is a fine place to stay

The staff was great! Frank made sure everything was ready for me. Checking in was a breeze as well as check out. Room was clean and comfy. the location was great close to restaurants and gas stations. Easy to find too.

This hotel was recommended by a couple of friends that travel to Manassas frequently. Good location (very quiet area away from the main traffic) and good value for the price. The internet was free and fast. Bathroom was very clean--a BIG dealbreaker for me. Suite was perfect, nice furnishings, good water pressure (a pet peeve of mine) and plenty of space. When I returned home, I discovered that I'd forgotten something in my room. I called the hotel and it was found and mailed to my home. This is definitely my Manassas hotel for all future visits!

A friend and myself stayed there for an over night conference. The price was great. The location was abit out of the way but easily accessable from I66. The facilities were wonderful. The room had a full kitchen w/full size fridge, micro, 2 burner flat cooktop, full size dishwasher and fully stocked cabinets. The beds were great, room size comfortable. Would be a great situation if you were in the area for a work situation or for a family vacation. Would use this location again.

My family is in transition waiting for our house. We have stayed in this hotel for a while now. This place leaves much to be desired. I found rodent droppings, killed roaches, and they deny that these problems exist. The GM is horribly rude, and doesn't mind telling your business to whoever will listen. They have children-like front desk agents who have no knowledge of customer service. You will need to clean your room when you get a room. The rooms have exhaust coming into the rooms from outside...it will wake you up. Heavy mildew smell. The linens are as if someone slept on them for 90 days before they changed them. The Bath linens are hard from constant usage; they will not take soiled linens out of circulation...Please, there are 20 other hotels in the area; be not deceived by the newness of the hotel. It is not a great location to stay.

This was an average hotel with a fair rate. The thing I like most about it was the kitchen complete with utensils and large fridge.

We stayed over the weekend for a concert and the customer service at this hotel was outstanding....The desk associates were very friendly, knowledgable and professional. The rooms were immaculate and had a full kitchen in them as well. The desk associates informed us that its a newest hotel in area and it really looked like new....very well maintained hotel. This is the best place in town and not that expensive either.We liked the hotel very much and will certainly recommend it to all others. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable...

I was highly disappointed at the $75 pet fee that I knew NOTHING about. The hotel said "sorry" but that didn't make up for the fact that their "pet friendly" policy was very, very misleading. So, I booked early to get a discount and ended up paying double upon arrival. The room was clean and very nice and was located perfectly for the concert we attended at Jiffy Lube. The lobby and overall first floor smells of sewage...not sure why? Noticed numerous other guests commenting on this smell.
