Best Western Manassas

Very nice accomodations, excellent care and most courteous staff.

There were no problems at this hotel... Just what I expected from a 3 star place at this price. I was in town for business purposes, so it worked for me.

Just what we were looking for at a great price.

The location was easy to miss and not super well marked. It is in what is apparently a not great part of Manassas across the street from a sex shop and adjacent to a couple of bar/restaurants.The hotel parking lot was a bit odd as there was one group of youths skateboarding and in general loitering on one side and another group of young people (all locals it seemed like)drinking out of paper bags on the other side. Check in was a little longer than I would normally expect. Also when I was checking in, the clerk made it very clear that no matter when I checked out, even if it it was in just a few hours, I could not get a refund. Not that I had asked in any way mind you, it just seemed like part of her check in speech. I was surprised and confused that she insisted on making a copy of my drivers license as well. She said this was hotel policy for [...] customers but I have never encountered such a thing before. The clerk was very nice, it just seemed a bit odd.The room was clean, I had plenty of towels and pillows and no issues once I was behind the door to my room. Everything in the room was older but in working order and good shape. My wake up call was right on time as well. The bed was not particularly comfortable, but opinions on such things vary. All in all, it seemed like a hotel more geared towards renting rooms to locals for hookups or partying and not so much a place for business or family travelers. Considering how many options are in the area, I would not recommend it.

I was in town for a funeral and the hotel was a clean and a smoke free environment as promised. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was minutes away from the mall and nice restaurants. The room was clean and the fan worked just fine.
