Unhappy College Mom
Not so good
There were about 100 non-smoking signs as we walked into a cloud of smoke throughout the whole building. At first glance the room looked ok...then....stains on the bed cover, ewww. The toilet had not even been cleaned, the lid was up and there was 'something" on the seat, hair in the bathtub and toothpaste on the faucet. The nightstand, desk etc. had not been wiped in a very long time. Really nice guy at check-in, but the room was horrible. We WON'T be going back.

Good Value
Pretty nice location right on the highway and away from the busy, noisy areas. The room was pretty decent and good value for money, I would recommend it for someone that's not extravagant.

Good Place
It wasn't anything too fancy but it wasn't dirty or disgusting either. It was a perfect deal for the price I paid.

Good Value
I stayed here for four days in August 2010 and I had no problems during my stay: the bed was fine, the room was clean, no noise keeping me awake, free wifi, the location was convenient for exploring the area. I'll be staying for three days again in a few weeks, no hesitation to use this motel again.

A cheap one night stay
Not enough soap, shampoo or towels for three people and no hair dryer. Hotel could use and update, there was indication that some rooms were being refurbished. [...]

Budget-conscious
Fine, except....
Motel is very close to Lynchburg, and inexpensive compared to nearby hotels. Very basic, no frills at all, polite staff. Interior corridors (but exterior doors did not require keys/keycards for access). Some landscaping. In the room, the small fridge/freezer worked fine (very cold). Room appeared clean. A little too cheap on the shampoo-- the plastic pouch (like a ketchup packet from a fast-food reataurant) was just about impossible to open. Surely it would only cost a few more cents to give guests shampoo they could actually use. Mostly, I was turned off by the cockroach on my wall in the morning, which I made sure did not make it into my luggage before I left. If not for the cockroach, this would have been acceptable, exactly what I would expect for the price.

Good low cost hotel
Stayed at this hotel one night while visiting relatives in the area. Hotel is no frills but decent for the price. Room was clean and quiet but breakfast had minimal offerings. Overall, what I expected for a low budget room.

well, its a room.
When my wife and I arrived there were some pretty sketchy people hanging around outside staring at us, some hanging out of their bedroom windows half dressed to smoke. The room was definitely dated although clean, the beds felt so hard it was like sleeping on the floor, no hot water for showers, and when we arrived for "breakfast" everything was empty. The place was safe, we didn't end up having any issues with the people hanging around outside that looked questionable, but the stay was not as comfy as it should have been for the price, that's for sure. The staff was nice enough, but it lacked comfort.
