Super 8 Lynchburg VA

Our only complaint was being on the first floor, we couldn't help but hear the party above moving furniture, walking back and forth til 2 am. Therefore, we had a hard time sleeping. Other than that, our stay was good. We would recommend providing fruit or yogurt with your breakfast especially for families watching their carb intake. Fruit is always a welcome addition. Thank you for all else provided. We did appreciate the location for the other activities we had to do.

the room was old and did not have a pull out sofa! we booked for 3 people and got a king!! the smoke detectore was hanging out of the ceiling , the towels were not big enough to cover an infant! We will not stay here again!

I don't know why Super 8 has gotten alot of negative reviews. My stay at the hotel was great. Not only was the price cheap but the room quality was good as well. You get what you paid for a nice clean room. There was no problem with the air or heating unit. I found the beds to be quite comfortable. They also provided free breakfast each morning. The breakfast consisted of cereal, muffins, bagels, and waffles made from scratch. I stayed here during my intensive at Liberty University and I can say that I will be staying at the Super 8 again for my next two intensives at Liberty.

There was no heat in the hotel room and little to know interest in correcting the issue. They came up and checked and just said it is not working. Did not attempt to find us another room, just brought in another bedspread for each bed and suggested we run the hot water all night to keep it warm. We, of course, would be unable to sleep with water running all night. We also had very heavy people in the room above that stomped around the room when they were there.

where to start, basically i got a completely different room from what i booked. i wanted a non smoking room with a king size bed, recliner, and all the amenities. i got a smoking room with a queen size bed, no recliner, and only a few amenities. i would have complained but all the rooms were the same price anyway so i didn't really care. however the room was very clean and they did come to clean the room and give me new towels at one point. also when i checked in they had a little girl probably no older than 10 helping customers at the desk. that does not sound like good business practice to me. it was just not my best experience. i wont be booking there again.

I had previously read some of the views on the website, and didn't believe it was that bad. Except for the bed bugs, which definitely were not there, everything else was true. I was woke up 5 times one night due to noise. Not quest noise,but hotel front desk staff noise. These people really don't care about you,their staff or their establishment which was made very apparent by the way they treated their staff, their guests and the laziness they showed. Four different times when i went into the lobby, the desk staff were laying on the coaches watching TV, asking me from their reclined spot if I needed something and being annoyed when they had to get up. The cleaning lady was covering two floors as well as doing the laundry. very busy. They couldn't even get up and help with the laundry, which was right off the lobby to help their business be a little better. I asked for towels and was given the inquisition when I wanted two towels for a shower. If I wanted to steal towels, it definitely wouldn't be theirs which were full of holes. When i left, the girl at the front desk signed me out without looking up, said hope to see you again in a monotone, and when I said "Not going to happen", she didn't care!!!!! This business, under these owners will not last the year!!!!!!

The Super 8 Hotel was your typical Super 8 hotel in a college town. Although the rooms are a little outdated and could use some upgrades, I would stay there again. It's a great location if your conducting business on campus and not worried about decor...

We came to drop off my daughter at Liberty University. It is very close to the campus. The room was a good size and average cleanliness. The staff was nice.

We stayed in the hotel because we were visiting Liberty University. The school is just across the street, so this would be an ideal location to stay if you were coming for a football game. Our room was clean and all items were in working order. In addition, the staff was friendly and helpful with directions around town.
