Holiday Inn LYNCHBURG

I was disappointed in this hotel. Given that I read reviews that rated it well, I expected more. The room had no microwave or refridgerator, and the coffee cups had not been replaced. The parking garage was next door, and the signage for it made it seem like it was still a public lot. While I did not exactly feel unsafe, I also did not feel that the garage was well manned. I would not plan to stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location. Ihe hotel is clean and well kept. Parking is excellent. Dining facility was excellent.

Stay was comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful. It was probably the best hotel in the city.

I stayed for a week while visiting Lynchburg. The staff were professional &helpful during my visit. The hotel was very clean and modern. I would recommend trying the restaurant during your stay.

We were escaping the Hurricane, so satisfactory accomodations would have been ok. What we received was far more! Excellent service and ammenities helped to ease our anxiety. And Pet friendly!

I am a gold priorty member with Holiday Inn. I have slept in Holiday Inns across the US. I will not stay at this hotel again. The person at check inn had no customer service skills. The next night they had a biker group staying at the hotel. I awoke at 1:00am to a bunch of drunks having a party next door. After two calls to the front desk to get security to silence the drunks, I had to go the front desk and demand a new room. When I asked for a credit for my nights stay the next morning the manager was reluctant to honor my request. This is an older hotel and the condition of the property and the rooms is poor. If your staying Lynchburg, try the other Holiday Inn. I am going back to Lynchburg this week, I can promise I will not be staying with Holiday Inn.

The staff were very friendly but I was not happy with the safety of the hotel. I did not like the outlets. Went to plug in my computer and the socket moved all over the place. Tried another one and there were spark marks all over the place. The room was over old and dark but clean.

This hotel was right in the heart of downtown Lynchburg. Close to shops and restaurants. Must go to hotel in downtown lynchburg.

Came in for college family weekend. Our "non smoking" room smelled like an ashtray. Our room door's deadbolt didn't work and the front desk asked me when I called at 9 pm "do you want that fixed right now?" We gave up at 11 pm and figured if we pushed the door hard and jacked it up by the handle we could manage to get the deadbolt to connect. The smoke alarm woke us up at 12:40 am -presuming it was the battery that was running low alerting us. The bath did not drain so each shower resulted in a foot soak of 3-4" of water. When you flushed the toilet, the tub belched out black pipe water. The restaurant food was mediocre at best and overpriced. The entry way to/from the parking garage smelled of vomit from the wedding the night before. I didn't get the breakfast vouchers included in my room rate at check in and had to request them at check out to cover Sunday morning. The staff was always polite.

Very nice hotel, especially for the price. It's located in the center of the town with lots of shops and restaurants. I didn't see any other hotels around.
