Liberty Shar
Not cleaned but cleaned out
The whole location had a very nasty smell. When the housekeeper came on the 4th and only day, they did nothing, left a note saying couldn't clean because personal item was in the way. The personal item was a watch on the bed. However, nothing was in the way of them cleaning the bathroom and they failed to do that. This is not to mention that housekeeping arrived to clean the room after 5PM. Once we left we noticed we were missing two keychains that were on the nightstand the day that the house keeper stated they could not clean the room.

I booked this hotel because it was close to LU and the price was right. I was traveling alone so did not require anything special. The hotel was adequate. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and the check in process was easy. The only drawback was there was only soap available in the bathroom and not shampoo or lotion. This may be common practice for an ESA property but this was my first time at this chain.

my garmin coulgnt get location right so made it tricky to find, room was clean nice small kitchenette, pet friendly my lab also enjoyed the stay. will stay there on my next trip

ExcellentValue and Great Staff
[...] booked us a smoking room, not non-smoking and the hotel was full. The staff tried very hard to accomodate us and several hours later were able to correct the situation. they were GREAT

Just a guy
Nice Hotel, if you like very firm beds
ESA really is a nice hotel with a great Lynchburg location very close to the Liberty University campus with easy access to US 460. My only complaint is that the beds were very firm to border line hard. For this reason I probably will not stay there again, but if you like or don't mind firm beds, this is a great place to stay.
