Needs Updating
The hotel is in a good location--not far from downtown Lexington. However, it is not up to par with most Days Inns in which we have stayed. Carpets had gum spots; lampshade was broken; sink drains were rusty; no electrical outlet for small coffee service which was provided; the only place to put it was on the floor next to an outlet. Breakfast area is very small; abuts next to the check-in counter. Would be better not to have one. Beds were comfortable; nice TV. Units need to be completely updated and refurnished. We were just pasing through, so only stayed one night. Probably would have changed hotels if we had wanted to explore the area and stay longer.

Wont be back
Did not receive the room type that I reserved - clerk at front desk informed me that the room type was overbooked. The only available room was outdated, smelled bad, bathroom fixtures need repair/replacement.

Beautifull scenery
The owners were very nice and offered us an updated room. The rooms could use a thorough overall cleaning, but they were neat with clean bedding. Just a little old fashioned was all.

Never again
The temperature had dropped during the day in Lexington. We arrived at 6:30 to a very cold room which took several hours to heat up. There was a leak around the commode that we had to soak up with towels several times and the refrigerator stopped working during night which let all our food spoil. Only received a sorry from management. Never offered to reimburse or even offer a slight refund. The breakfast was only a small bar set up in lobby. Will never return.

Very Good Experience
Had a very enjoyable one night's stay. Room was large, well lighted and clean. TV is located in the bedroom. Motel manager was very friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was much better than experienced at other comparable lodging. I recommend it and would stay there again.

Good, quiet hotel away from the road
The hotel was a good hotel. It was a typical hotel room. The room layout could use some improvement. The two double beds were bunched together into a small section. The hotel room was designed into an i-shape. The A/C worked well and it was quiet.

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
Historic downtown of Lexington doesn't have too many stores. It's a short drive away (1.2 miles) from the hotel. It takes less than 5 minutes and the town is a great historic place to visit.

Very Disappointed
This is an old hotel that needs some serious updating. Very cramped and a bit claustrophobic. Rooms seemed clean but because of age all seemed dingy. No internet access...and TV reception very poor...fuzzy picture. Checkout is 11:00. Maid at door at exactly 11 o'clock and a call from the office at 11:03 telling us it was past checkout time. We were already packed and ready to leave. Both interruptions delayed us and were very rude. I would not stay here again or recommend this place. Not worth the MONEY.

Great stay
The Days Inn was perfectly located for us as we were visiting near the Washington & Lee University area. It was very quiet, clean, and the rooms were large enough to accommodate alot of luggage, etc. For the price, I don't think you could beat it.
