Nice Place For the Price
A spacious retreat from a busy schedule, this hotel is quiet and comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel and plan to stay again when I'm in the area.

Easy check in. Great staff. This is probably an older hotel. The room seemed dated and there was no separation of the bed room from the living room. Everything else was great.

Room was great! Very clean, staff friend
Visited DC during our stay. Convenient to the Metro. Room was clean, staff was friendly. Complimentary breakfast was great every morning. Also convenient to resturants and the grocery store. Made use of the kitchenette. Enjoyed our stay very much! Price was also very good!

Fantastic Price, Beatable Location
Pool is seasonal, and was closed at this time. If you're doing DC stuff, this is a bit far out (30 mins travel time, minimum). Wireless dropped off at times for no reason. Buffet breakfast was great (eggs, potatoes, cereal, waffles, etc). The room was really an extended stay suite with full kitchen and living room areas- I've see smaller apartments. Fantasic space

About 10 mins from the Air & Space Museum at Dulles. Free admission, but $15 to park. Worth the trip.

Alabama traveler
Residence Inn Herndon Reston
We stayed in Herndon while visiting Washington DC over a weekend. The Residence Inn is very close Dulles Airport and about 8 miles from the last stop on the Washington Metro Orange Line. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the price was great. There are many restaurants and stores within walking distance to the hotel. The only frustration was that with the numerous Metro stops it was a 45 minute ride to the Smithsonian, but still not bad and worth the price savings.

Shocked at value
The rooms were very comfortable. GREAT price for what you get. We came to visit DC for a couple of days. Great room amenities made us want to stay in the hotel. Large TV, sitting area, and small kitchen. Great place to relax after touring DC all day. We ordered pizza and what leftovers we had we were able to reheat in the stove. The only downside is the location to downtown Washington DC. Its about a 30 min car ride one way and has a toll. Also its about a 10 min drive to the nearest train station. Definitely next time I am in town will stay at this Inn.
