Shuttle Bus
At the airport called hotel for the shuttle bus. Waited 30 minutes and called again. It was cold and raining, we finally went to the hotel in a cab.

Solid basic hotel
This was a really nice hotel with the basics. A pool, continental breakfast and nice large rooms. If you need something by the airport but don't want to spend a ton then this is it. This is a clean hotel with above average rooms. The ladies who welcomed me at reception in the afternoon were also lovely. Shuttle to airport was also great.

Good .. when you find it
I was on a late flight so the shuttle service was finished. My taxi took me to the 'other Hyatt' nearby. Receptionist cheerily said, "it happens all the time". I had to walk (with luggage about 2 blocks at 1am). They really should change the name of one of these or somehow distinguish between the two places. Hyatt Place fine though I was only there 8 hours and used no facilties.

Tropical traveller
Perfect for early morning flights at IAD
Had a 6:30am flight-sure was worth the price of a night's stay, plus allowed to park our car for free up to 14 days. The cost of a night's stay was more economical than parking at the econo lot at the airport for 2 weeks! Will definitely utilize this strategy again the next time we fly out of Dulles airport.

staff was helpful, friendly, and did a good job. continental breakfast was ordinary. location is near airport and lots of food choices.

drive to Vienna, take the train to DC. you land right near the White House. $9 all day.
