Everything was nice when i checked in the lady at the desk was very nice, we went to the pool and the person who was working at the pool was very friendly.

Very relaxing weekend.
The hotel was very relaxing. The front desk was very helpful. I loved the pool and hot tub. Thank you for helping with a much needed weekend off.

clean and quiet
Overall it was above par, but the rooms could use some updating. The lobby looked very new and the room was clean and had some new furnishings, but it needed some updating. There was a rip in the curtains and in the bathroom the grout was in bad shape, there was some rust around the tub and the one vent was nearly clogged with dust. It was almost as if they had renovated the room except for the bathroom. The staff was friendly though and I felt that it was very clean. I was somewhat disappointed that breakfast wasn't included in the price.

THIS PLACE HAS IT ALL..... GREAT RATES 5(+) STARS, GREAT STAFF - VERY HELPFUL - HOWEVER DON'T FORGET YOUR TOOTH BUSH ($4. CHARGE TO ROOM FOR ASKING) GREAT LOCATION - ONLY 30 MINS TO DC... POOL HOURS ARE WEIRD (4PM TO 10PM) BUT I GOT THE SPA FOR 30 MINS - WAS EXCELLENT. SO OVER ALL 4 STARS - IF BREAKFAST WAS FREE IT WOULD BE GOLDEN.

Amazing trip
From the moment we arrrived we were greated by a friendly staff. I arrived at the room and it was clean and nice but the bed being soft made me feel at home. It was close to us sightseeing in Washington. I loved it and would go back definetly.

Courtyard by Marriott Herndon/Reston
The staff was extremely personable and helpful at all times. The room was very clean. They even let my husband and son stay the last day for two extra hours, free of charge, because it was extremely hot outside and they were waiting for me to finish a class. That's great service! The only thing we didn't care for was that the pool was only open from 5pm-10pm.

Very Modern!
The hotel was well-appointed -- especially the lobby with a Smart Board type display, 24-hour coffee and snack bar -- and the room comfortable. The pool and hot tub were pleasant but only open from 4-10 p.m. with a lifeguard on duty. It opened to the courtyard but the doors were locked! The courtyard has chairs and outdoor sofas in various settings, perfect for a pleasant evening visit. The hotel is well over an hour away from Washington downtown. Within the driving area are lots of eateries but none within walking distance.

The unusual Reston Town Center is just a couple of miles away -- a very posh outdoor mall with loads of great restaurants, a big decorative fountain and an outdoor ice rink in the winter.
