Quick Fix, Great Price

This hotel came at a great value however it is not the top pick for amenities and comfort. If you just need a place to lay your head and aren't too picky, I'd definitely recommend this place.

nice stop in Harrisonburg

After a long trip late into the evening, I was tired, but the clerk was very slow in dealing with people ahead of me. She didn't seem well organized to handle their questions. When I finally stepped up I received the same service - very slow. I was staying for the night on the way home. Once in the room, it was clean, quiet, and restful to get up and continue my way home the next morning. Before I left for church on Sunday morning, nothing was set up for the continental breakfast. A different clerk came in and unlocked the freezer so I could get juice and a bagel to toast, but nothinig was already out at 7:30 for me or any other guests.

Bad, Unless you like bugs in your bed

Very bad. Bugs in bed. Didn't realize until morning when there was blood on the sheets. Called the attendant and he saw them and agreed. Gave me the number of the owner who was out of town. Wouldn't give me money back. Only owner could approve. Will call owner after my trip and report to health department

Do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone

My husband and had a family funeral to attend and this reservation was made online. Based on the photos online and my past visits to this same hotel many years ago, I feel I had been deceived. I was very disappointed and inconvenienced! We were very pressed for time and had to find another hotel which deserves to be mentioned due to the facts that it was very affordable, clean, no brown water and suitable. The Super 8, close by Red Carpet Inn Harrisonburg. Dont waste your time and efforts, look else where. Happy Travels!

Fleabag

I found this hotel to be very dirty. The mattress was very uncomfortable and the staff was not helpful at all. I specially requested a non-smoking room and when I went into the room it had an ashtray and a definite smoke aroma. When I mentioned this to the manager he insisted the room was a non-smoking one, but he would send someone in to clean up the smoking odor. This of course never happened. This has to the worst hotel in the Harrisonburg area.

red carpet inn harrisonburg

the motel was way overpriced (120.-- per night)even for a graduation weekend. we stayed the night before close by in a chain motel for 75.--(graduation weekend too). the red carpet motel is so outdated, needs more then major repairs. It needs to be torn down. it is dirty, mold in the bathroom. it should not even be on the internet by orbitz. it was terrible, never again and NOT to recommend to anybody !! stay away from the red carpet inn in harrisonburg.

Not Bad Looking, BUT, Bad

The Inn was not bad to look at...the room made a nice appearance....BUT.. the comfort of the bed was not to be had... The most problematic of the whole room was the bathroom.... The Commode was broken and had to be flushed by hand... The drain in hte Tub/Shower was not draining as fast as thwe shower ran and in a few minuted of showering you were standing in several inches of water... The hand/wash bowl had no stopper to close for shaving or etc. However: The continental breakfast was adequate...and not all was lost.... So, I am not sure I'd take a chance on another visit to this Inn....
